  • pathetic win11 drivers still having issues with sleep mode not waking up… the available driver that works continues to drain my battery. windows updates reverts it to faulty drivers for me….. I'll have to revert to win10. Lenovo tech already spent over an HR remotely who then have up and asked me to try win 10

    • Hope you don't have a mining malware. Make sure you check.

      • I usually reimage the original drive.. then start from scratch…

anyway a tech is scheduled to visit after a new Mobo arrives… interesting times..

        • I have a ThinkPad X13 that similarly suffers from sleep draining the battery while lid is closed. Google reveals many people having this issue, something about the machine being unable to enter the sleep state it's meant to. Some people seemed to think it was an issue with AMD not implementing the sleep properly for the motherboard and Windows 11, but I guess if it happens on Intel it might be a more widespread issue.

  • What am I missing here, aren't there many laptop with better spec around the same price?

    • It's the chassis that makes it expensive. But I wouldn't buy an i5 with 8gb of RAM either.

I reckon that Quadro doesn’t help.

You are right mate. I was thinking of the carbon chassis.

    • Not many laptops with Quadro except workstation laptops, which are always expensive expensive. This one is not bulky though, I don't know if it will truly work like a workstation.

    Memory : 8 GB Soldered DDR4-3200 non-ECC + 8 GB SO-DIMM DDR4-3200 non-ECC

    So it's 16GB then?

  • I didnt see any good spec for this laptop considering for the price…
