      Depends on portability, if it's from same era
      I'd prefer go model, but make sure you avoid alcantara models mainly due to long-term durability and vulnerability to contamination

      Having used both, I would recommend the surface laptop.

      Go: No Backlit keyboard, also gets pretty loud when using with the charger connected.

      It would if not for the lack of power management. Battery life is reportedly poor.
      Microsoft still does not support Linux, so better to get another brand, such as Dell.
