    5090 option?

  • +3

    is 750w abit too low?

    • I've seen people running 4090 undervolt with 750w, 5080 tdp is 100w less than 4090 iirc. So 750w + 5080 combo is ok I guess, but kinda funny they can + 20/30$ and get a 850w for a peace of mind lol

    • +3

750W is enough for these rigs :).

  • +6

    750w is kinda crazy

  • +1

I love the no DRAM SSDs on PCs that cost this much. The cheap AG400 is also great.

    • +7

It's hard to balance all the demands and requirements for OzBargainer's. We are always trying to find the balance between a bargain and what is a necessity, without having the overall price go up too much. Understandably, the market is large and needs differ from each use case and person, I try my best to cater for all as much as I can. The default configuration will work and perform great but may not have the preferred features or specs for all unfortunately, I understand.

  • +6

Just wish we get a slightly better MB than the Asus prime/ Gigabyte Gaming. One is suggested against by Hardware Unboxed due to throttling, the other has PBO disabled. I know you can upgrade but the cost is so steep that defeats the purpose of this prebuilt.

  • +3

Great deal, pick a x870 mobo, new case for it and prob a 850w psu when checking out.

    • Is it really worth it for an extra $300 and a mandatory case upgrade for the x870?

  • +1 for the MC's enthusiastic tone.

  • +2

Practically the same price as the 7800x3d / 5080 build I got last month 😭, no complaints though, the build has been an absolute beast and the build quality has been flawless!

    • Same >.<

    • better ram (CL30) with 7800x3d deal

    • 😅 Sorry, my friend, IT is such a fast-moving industry, and pricing is always changing. Sometimes up and sometimes down.

Thank you for your support. If you need anything, please let me know.

    5070 ti goated card

  • Best around

  • +1

Can I get this without the video card?

    • +1

Not at this stage sorry, it will need to come with a GPU.

      • Is there an option to delete the SSD's?

Edit: holy crap, I wanted an NXT case and they disappeared before I could even get in!!

        • It will need to come completely working as a full system, including the SSD.

  • Do you still have the zotac zone? Is there potential to do it same price as gala for $599

    • Yes, we have it. However, unfortunately can't do that pricing.

      • No problems thanks lawrence

        • +1

Good to always hear from you and see you on the forums, MJohn!

  • +2

How annoying!! I bought the 7800x3d order less than a week ago because it was said there would be no 9800x3d promotions 😭

After all the upgrades I made on mine this 9800x3d one is less than $300 more 🥲

    • …and next week there will be more sales (EOFY). That's the nature of the sales period, especially so in the pc market also considering the strengthening Australian Dollar.

      Prices are literally changing weekly.

    • I can only apologise for this, IT is a fast-moving industry and pricing is changing all the time. At the time of your order, there weren't any. It is impossible for me to dictate the future pricing and deal availability.

      • +1

Funny enough, my order was processed and shipped in just one business day after my purchase, even with all the upgrades I have added (bought 10 June 6 pm, fully built and picked up by 11 June, delivered 12 June!!).

Given two of my friends have ordered from you (through my recommendation and before I bought mine!!) where one of them took over 10 days to get it shipped (5070ti deal) and the other one ordered theirs before me (9060xt deal) and are still waiting for their order now, it's strange you were able to get my order in place so quickly and you didn't know this deal would come out two days after. I guess I will call that coincidence then ☺️

  • @Nebula PC , sent you guys an email =)

  • Hi, noticed that there is no MSI B650 gaming plus wifi option, and how much more to upgrade to this MB? Thanks.

    • Not available for this deal sorry.

  • I got the 7800X3D 5080 deal last night (Fri night) through Nebula, any chance I can pay the difference and upgrade to the 9800X3D?

  • +2

Nice deal! I see you include cc charge into your prices, could be an idea to offer direct bank transfers for a slight discount or even just give the option, I personally would pay via bank with no discount just to support the business and give less to the bank

    • Yes, that is correct. I totally understand where you come from. We used to have a bank transfer option, however we had to disable it due to the manual work involved. Once an order is made, stock is allocated immediately, and we have had too many instances of chasing payment, payment not clearing etc… It was extremely inefficient, thus we no longer offer this option unless requested. If you prefer to pay by bank transfer, please let us know, and we can apply a 1% discount.

  • My price is $500 more than here with $500 discount already applied.

    What am I missing ?
    Sorry if silly me

    • Did you use the coupon code?

    • Please use OZB_EOFY_$500OFF in checkout 😁.

  • Can I claim this on tax?

    • can claim anything on tax if used work or business

    • Believe in yourself and you can achieve anything

  • Nice deal pretty best around.I am interested in 5080 anyone recommend me?

  • +1

Ordered a system a little over 2 weeks ago through these guys. No contact since.

They state all other orders have an estimated 7-10 business day turn around.

Their website also states: “Get in touch with our world class customer service team, we'll be sure to get back to you within a business hour.”

I sent an email off this morning 3 hours ago, no reply.

    • +1

Same here I ordered at the start of the month and chose them over TechFast because of the shorter delivery timeframe. They've already gone past their 10-business-day turnaround, and unless you follow up, you won't hear a thing. In hindsight, I probably should’ve just gone with GALA. Oh well, you live and learn!

      • Did you guys receive a reply, @Extreme @Yiannakis50 ?

        • Yes, I got a response and the was shipped - like any industry these days just got to jump up and down a bit to get traction unfortunately

        • Yes, I got a reply. System shipped Wednesday and arrived today.

Pretty happy with everything, but a “sorry it’s taking longer than expected” email certainly wouldn’t have gone astray.

    • This should've been resolved now. Just a bit smashed with work during this busy period. I apologise for the minor delay.

If you are having any other issues please let me know, it'll be actioned immediately.

      • Any 5080 in stock for local pickup in sydney

        • Yes, in a full system.

          • @Nebula PC: Sweet! do you have any killer deals like Lukefast? 5090 under 5k? I would prefer to get the system from you as you're local to Sydney.

            • @ffagz: They are the best of the best. IT is a fast-moving industry, I can't say yes or no at this stage, sorry. I would recommend purchasing from the most suitable business, price point you are satisfied with and when you are ready.

  • Just ordered the 5080 setup. After upgrading the mobo, PSU, ram and adding a couple of extras, it came to $4545…

I guess I'll hand back my OzB card…

    • I was hovering over the "Buy" button with my extras on the default 5080 build at $3.6k…. any recommendations as "must have" upgrades? Some of the default parts are newer brands that I'm not familiar with and not sure if I can trust.

      I was thinking:
      - 6000, CL30 ram
      - 850W MSI PSU
      - Kingston SSD

Decided against any changes to the motherboard as the default option seemed ok from my quick googling. But there's always a case to be made for upgrading everything :)

      • Among the other things, I went with

        MSI PRO X870-P WIFI7
        G.Skill Trident ram
        MSI MAG A1000GL PSU
        321R ATX case.

It all adds up, but I typically keep a PC for 5-6 years before upgrading (plus it's a tax writeoff) so decided stuff it.

        • Yeah fair point. My gaming laptop has served me fairly well for 5-6 years, and I travel much less for work now, so I'm keen on a desktop that could last me a similar amount of time. Reliable is more important than cheapest. I will keep contemplating. Thanks!

    • Haha

  • just talked a mate of mine through the process to buy one of these rigs, i have a windows licence for him already so we didn't order windows as a part of the order - do you guys actually install it anyway but leave it unlicensed so you can run them in? or is it going to arrive completely blank?

(just planning whether i need to post him a usb key with windows installer on it!)

    thanks :)

    • If no Windows license is purchased, it'll come with no operating system.

  • Any slight decent changes like ram, ssd 870 touches 4k.

  • This(R7 9800X3D ) RTX 5070 Ti or Ryzen 7 7800X3D, RTX 5070 Ti (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/905564) ?
The later is $50 cheaper but has better ram, ssd, case and motherboard(?) but expensive option to upgrade PSU.

  • hi , if i order tomorrow, will the invoice show the date of the order, or the date it was dispatched/delivered? Im tempted to buy, but a bit worried the invoice date will show when it is delivered

    • It will show the date of the order/transaction, not when it is despatched/delivered. Any other questions, please let me know 😁.

  • Curious how busy/ backed up you guys are this time of year? I know average time for dispatch is 7-10 days but are you being flogged with the EOFY sales?

    • I saw on instagram they are in the process of moving to a new warehouse. Not sure if this would impact on their existing orders.

    • A bit backed up from EOFY orders however, we're chewing through them fast now. We have moved our warehouse mostly over the weekend, and we are fully operational again. It hasn't affected our operations.

      • Hey I'm curious how long it takes to ship these systems out, as, I placed me order 16 days (12 business days ago).
Also wondering if any fan/aRGB splitters/hubs come with the system so I can install 2 more case fans in the future

        • Update: My system was completed and ready to pick up on 24 July (order placed 30th June, so it took 24 days/18 business days). They claim 8-10 business days for dispatch, however they did move locations/warehouses during the time it took to build the PC.

If this is being read by a store rep, then I'd like to suggest some sort of progress monitoring system that can be communicated with the customer, especially if things are delayed. Delays are inevitable, however more annoying than them is being kept in the dark about them.

Credit given where it's due, they replied quickly to my emails, however it was difficult to get them on the phone (called them several times and it was answered only once).

    • I ordered 27th June Friday evening (so say 30th June Monday morning)
15 business days and no shipment notification as of yet 😢

      • Apologies for the delay, we were backed up a little from the EOFY orders and have mostly caught up now.

  • No GPU's in stock?

    • NVM - showing up now
