$3 Bonus Promo Terms - please read carefully - it will save a lot of questions:

  1. To be eligible for the $3 bonus, you must first activate the promotion on this page, then purchase a Choice gift card of $30 denomination (or higher) via the Gift Card Page on Cashrewards (link is on the activation page).
  2. After activation, gift card purchase must be made between 11am and 4pm AEST 10/08/2022. Bonus will decline if purchase is made after 4pm AEST.
  3. Activations are capped at 3000. Once activation limit is reached, you can still purchase until 4pm AEST (provided you first activated the bonus).
  4. Bonus is eligible on purchase of a Choice gift card of $30 denomination (or higher) in a single transaction.

      At least with Amazon gift cards, you can add them to your Amazon account straight after you purchase them, no need to hold onto the gift card details. And I believe the value never time-expires once it is in your account.

      I wish Ebay was the same. As far as I can tell, you can only add an Ebay GC to your Ebay account by making a purchase.

      I tried it. But the 4 digit pre-authorisation code doesn't appear in the transaction list. There's a pending transaction from Digital Rewards but it doesn't show the code. I tried calling Coles and they couldn't tell me. I then called True Rewards who told me to call Coles again lol as they couldn't do anything either ffs.

      And my ING card doesn't show the 4 digit authorisation code either.

      Had to use my Virgin card to finally see the code.

      So frustrating when you want to change the linked card on the True Rewards platform. It's much easier on Shopback tbh.

      Yes, I used a Coles Mastercard to pay. I had to log in to my account on the Coles card online centre, look in the Pending section. There is a pre-authorisation transaction labelled 'EGIFT *TR <CCCC> CODE…' - where <CCCC> is the 4-digit authorisation code.

      Edit: I may have misunderstood your intent - if you meant using a Coles MC giftcard. I am using a normal credit card.

      Just this morning I used a Coles MasterCard GC to pay (the yellow one). I linked it with True Rewards about 2 weeks ago but cannot remember if it wanted a verification code. I tried to use the Special GC and there it did want a code that I could not see on their website.

    The card verification system is a complete and utter pain. Some cards (such as Bundll) don't show the information they ask for.

      Yeah, I tried using a special GC on a previous deal and it was taking ages to get the code so I had to switch back to a different card.

      Will be good when they add the ability to pay with your balance and/or multiple cards.

      I activated earlier (10-15 min ago) but when i go back to the page it says "Sorry, the offer has reached its activation limit and is now expired."

        You simply can't activate the bonus after the cap is reach (it's all in the OP). If you have the $3 bonus showing in your CR account, followed by the Choice GC purchase, you're good to go.
