  • Sugar levels are not that bad either

      • They are made using happy cows' milk.

        • -4

If you admit they can feel emotions then you are double the dunce for mistreating them and killing their children so you can steal their milk.

          • @afoveht:

If you admit they can feel emotions

            So do carrots.

            @afoveht:

so you can steal their milk.

            It's not stealing.

      • I'd be more concerned about the massive number of animals that are shot and poisoned to protect/produce vegies, grains, and the likes, so many wasted lives…

        • How else will the Vegans have enough food ????

        • -2

The majority of which is used as animal feed. Yep, you should be concerned.

  • I think an actual chocolate bar has lower % fat, but this has lower sugar so yay keto? Real high protein bars are way better as you will actually feel full instead this tiny thing.

    • +1

as you will actually feel full

You don't eat these to feel full. They're to satisfy sugar/snack cravings…

  • It's only 79c cheaper than what Chemist Warehouse normally sell these for…
Bought lots for $1 each recently.

The new Carmans low sugar & low carb varieties taste way better and are 40g.
Keep an eye out for when they go on sale… Currently they're about $6 for a 3-pack

    • Those $1 Aussie Bodies bars were/are discontinued, unfortunately. They had lower carbs than the new range, too.

  • +1

If it's branded "keto" it isn't proper low-carb food. Just eat real food.

    • +2

      Just eat real food.

I guess you can eat a boiled egg, but it's not quite the same…

These are meant to be a 'treat'. Not to replace meals.

  • +1

"Keto" snack, but contains vegetable oil and wheat starch in ingredients LMAO

    • +1

Keto is not the same a Paleo…

      • I realise this.
But this does not change the fact that wheat starch is a carbohydrate, therefore not keto.
And as for vegetable oils, whilst it technically is a fat, the overwhelming majority of people who teach (or even just follow) the keto diet will tell you that vegetable oil does not belong in your food because of how highly processed it is and its inflammatory effects on your body.
It is just downright misleading that this product is labelled as "keto" with ingredients like this.

        • +1

If it is branded "keto" it most likely is not. The term has been bastardised in the name of profit.

        • But this does not change the fact that wheat starch is a carbohydrate, therefore not keto.

Ketosis does not require 0 carbs.

    "keto"

    fraud.

This is not keto. Keto works. But this will 100% break your keto.

    • +1

Agree, I think part of what makes keto work is the fact you're generally eating whole foods, real food, not heavily process crap like these…

      • +1

What makes keto work is the absence of carbs.
