  • do we have a summary where's the best place to outright a zfold 4?

    • I'd say it depends what it is you are looking for as far as bonus things. Cheapest is the Samsung education portal(need edu.au email) - best bonus… personal preference I would say.

      • i tried to use, but the trade up not working, keep saying "Sorry, due to an error, trade-in service is unavailable at the moment"

      • Whats the edu price? im away from work atm and need to reactivate my account.

        • 1999 last I looked. Jbhifi is giving a bonus 600 for trade in
I got 1450 for my iPhone 13 pro
          Pretty decent

  • Wait one year and get all of this at half price.

  • Last Fold they gave a welcome pack (wireless charger, pen, stand etc) and a Samsung TV. This feels like a slight downgrade for bonuses included lol

      Wtf AND a tv???

      • yep, I got my TV

    • what tv model?

      • Samsung 43" UHD TV AU8000

        • how much did you pay for phone?

and how much was that tv selling for (not rrp)?

  • Would buying a Z Flip outright lock the phone to Telstra or free to use with any existing sim etc?

    • -1

      No.

    • They're unlocked from the factory no matter where you buy the phones. These aint old pre-paid devices where the Telco makes their money off forcing you to stay on their network for a subsidised price.

  • Can anyone confirm if the bonuses are just on the invoice at zero or no charge? Some companies sometimes will split the invoice cost across multiple lines even if the bonus says zero charge.

    • why?

        Price protection

        • so how do you want the invoice to look like to qualify for price protection?

is price protection for 28 degrees or some other card?

          • @pinkybrain:

            phone 2499
            bonuses $0
(ideally dont even list it as $0, just have it on there at literlly just an invoiced or picked line).

and yes og 28 degrees, or og coles. I have the former.

i probably wont bother anyway as the best deals are usually via EPP or the other portals or via trade in promos which wont quality for PP

No idea. The storage upgrade probably would be. The process to get the watch is done through Samsung. You have to sign up to their site, and submit the phones IMEI code and telstra invoice. This would indicate you cant get the watch until the phone is in your hands.

      • ah then that would be totally fine then - i'll go down to samsung kiosk tomorrow to see if they have the demos out to play yet

And here I am thinking a 24Month contract was something out of the early 2000.
Must be all the "new" kids falling for that old trick again.

    • They think they are getting a phone cheap when it actual fact they are getting reamed.

'Free' is a relative term after you have just paid 2.5k for a phone with a worse camera and smaller battery than an S22 Ultra. :D

  • Hopefully a few of the watches go up for sale at a good price, might be time to finally upgrade mine if they do.

    • Of i buy this deal, id probably try list at 500.

  • Any one know how to buy the phone outright with Telstra and not taking out a service?

  • The website doesn't work at all :( disappointing
For two days, it has been showing "Something went wrong, please try again later"

  • well, Telstra has done me over. Preordered a phone listed as 'ready for dispatch on September 1st'. have been getting the run around, no tracking or order details, but first payment taken.
Was told 5-7 days for delivery to update as shipped.
Just now on chat have been told due to preorder numbers they have no stock and are expecting replenishment in 3-6 weeks, which goes beyond the samsung redemption period.

    not impressed.
