HELLO THERE.

I bring EVEN more tiny PCs that can fit in your pocket. We have some excess, and want to get rid of them. We also have the lovely M700 i5-6400T | 8GB | 128GB desktops for $169!!!! Similar to the previous Dell 3020M, these Lenovo's come with 8GB ram and 128GB SSD. The CPU (i5-4570T) is a dual core / 4 thread processor, hence the price difference compared to the 3020M , however is more than fine for a basic office/home use PC, or mini server! Each will come with a WIFI 300mbps as they unfortunately did not come with WiFi dongles installed. All the specs are down below with some upgrades available. 1 year warranty on all plus cables included ( power adapter). Click and collect is available from our Yarraville, Melbourne 3013 warehouse. Both Courier and Parcel/Express post is available as well as Click and Collect ( Shipping should be cheap as they are quite small!). Allow 7 days processing to get these orders out.

  • Does the M700 have a Bluetooth card built in?

  • If you replace wireless card with a second ethernet port (i.e. Intel i210AT), or even utilise that unused mstata port. This can be a perfect home NAS/server/soft router.

      • Sweet. Where is the best place to obtain such an item?

        • +1

Adding mstata slot is not hard, plenty YouTube videos cover this.

To install the second ethernet port, you need a minipcie to RJ45 adapter. There are products on eBay but make sure you check the size. Or get a custom model from Taobao ($45 Delivered, google translate required)

  • Sure this does consume more watts than raspberry pi 4?

    • This consumes approx 10W idle vs Pi4 5W. But it is a lot faster in processing power, larger RAM expandability. The 6400T model would also allow for much faster storage with a NVMe. So it depends on your use case.

      • -1

Can't find it consumes 10 Watt, it's more like 45 watts

        • Are you talking about idle or with CPU in high utilisation? And definitely the 1Litre Tiny?

The TinyMiniMicros are essentially laptop motherboard with a laptop power supply so they idle at similar levels. Not the identical machine but Serve The Home has reviewed many of these and they generally idle at around 10W, see reference https://www.servethehome.com/lenovo-thinkcentre-m900-tiny-pr…

I have had like five Lenovo Tinies - can confirm from personal experience it's definitely not idling at 45W. 45W idle sounds more like the SFF sized boxes.

          • @CoronavirusVaccine: i5-6500T is a thermally throttled Skylake CPU. Skylake systems usually idle under 15watts similar to previous gen 4 standard Haswell CPUs.

So yeah no way it idles at 45w, must be some crazy running in the background.

  • For the M700, will the two DP video outs allow me to run 2 x 27" displays both @ 4K?

  • Can these fit a low profile GPU?

  • When are you getting more laptops in OP?

  • Anyone know how this would compare to my parents i5-2500k 16gb ddr3 machine?
They use it for Zoom calls, general browsing and google drive.

  • What’s the emulation performing on something like this? Can it run upto Dreamcast level at full performance?

  • Finally bit the bullet and bought the m700 with 16gb ram. Any idea of much power these can provide via the usbs? I'm planning on connecting a bunch of portable and external HDDs to it. Worst case scenario I can just use a powered hub.
128gb is probably going to be a bit tight, i'm assuming there's space for a 2.5 inch drive in these?

  • Thanks OP, I have a spare 512gb ssd from an old Mac mini. Could I install that in this to upgrade storage?

  • Would this run Steam Link from my PC ok?

  • Lenovo ThinkCentre M700 Tiny - i5 6400T is a much better choice.
    64Gb Ram (32*2) supported.
You can even build all flash VSAN lab with three M700 at a fraction cost of entry-level servers, i.e. Dell T140.
    Approx. cost:
    Three M700 with 1 Tb M2 SSD/1TB 2.5 inch SSD: $1200;
    6 pieces of 32Gb RAM: $870;
    2.5Gb USB NIC: $ 130,

    Total cost: $2,200

  • M700 sold out.

Glad I got in early :-).

  • Please bring the M700 Tiny back :(

  • Has anyone received their M93p? Haven’t got pick up confirmation email until today. Thanks.

    • Same, no news yet, purchased on 13 August.

Finally got my M700 with 16G RAM delivered.
As a Mac user, apparently I had super low expectations and am now very impressed with this little device and how well Windows 11 runs.

Strangely enough when I first connected my monitor via DisplayPort to HDMI adaptor it was supporting 2560x1440, but after either some Windows update or some Intel update (there were few) monitor blinked and switched to 1600x900 with no option to choose higher resolution (attempt to create a custom mode in Intel graphics settings was giving an error about exceeding maximum bandwidth or something like this). Had to find DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable which solved the problem and 2560x1440 is back again.

Also found this Microsoft keyboard with an integrated touchpad on sale: https://www.amazon.com.au/MICROSOFT-Wireless-Media-Keyboard-… and touchpad is actually not as bad as some of Amazon reviews say, and now I can control Kodi from couch :)

    • No email confirmation for shipment yet. (in Sydney). I suspect we should see some over the next couple days

    • Ordered on the 12th, got the sendle notification on the 19th and received today (QLD).

      • Whaaa really. Still waiting for shipment here haha. Was that a M93 model or M700?

        • The m93. They must be working their way through a lot of orders.

  • Anyone had their m700 order sent out yet?
Ordered on 13/8 and no shipping notification yet.

    • Just got mine overnight. M700 heading to Sydney. They're getting there!

    • yes, they sent it out on 18/8, I received it on 22/8

  • Ordered the 1 x M700 and 1 x M93i on 13 August.
Added SSD & RAM upgrades, paid the invoiced amount.

No shipping confirmation for 10+ days.

Got an email yesterday demanding I pay an additional $330. Then got another one one now demanding $450.

Turns out FuseTech stuffed up their system and failed to charge for the upgrades when I initially ordered them.

Seeing the price increase by almost 150%, I asked them to remove the storage upgrades, and reissue the invoice for the price difference for the RAM updates.

FuseTech instead cancelled the entire order.

Not terribly impressed by how this has all been handled.

  • Just got my M700. Looks good! Apart from a minor scratch on the front almost mint condition. M.2 drive little plastic holder was slightly popped out, so fixed that so it's solid now. Works fine otherwise! Activated once connected to the net no problem.

Also was 1x8GB RAM stick. Easy upgrades later I guess! And spare slot for 2.5 SSD.

    Solid little machine.
