Is this the lowest price it has ever been for the 2 pack? Yes.

Do you need it? No.

Will you make up a Story / Use case that you need it because life is boring? Yes.

Use case excuse to convince Wifey/GF/Mother in Law: That living room lamp never gets used, now you can switch it on and off with 'hey Siri' instead of walking up to it, fishing the switch at the back and switching it on and off.

      A Deta wide spaced power point from Bunnings for $16 would probably solve that but I haven't tried or measured so take this advice with pepper and salt.

    yes, they are large and considerably heavy.
    you would lose access to the next socket.

    No ‘Hey Siri switch on lamp’ with those ones. As it’s not HomeKit compatible.
