  • Wasn't this used to be fee free for 1 yr?

  • +10

It's 160k if you have an account with anz and sign up through their app.

    • +1

it was 130,000 without an ANZ account as well
      Wait.

      • An additional bonus 30,000 Qantas Points, when you keep the card for over 12 months

      • sorry new to this. is it possible to sign up without a anz savings account?

        • +1

You certainly can without an ANZ account and get 100k points. Or you can just open a saver account to get a login, and you can get 160k points, what’s so hard about this, you don’t even have to put any $ into it.

    • Yeah shows 100k points but web but 160k on app.

    • +2

I just got credited with 160,000 a few days ago. after 3 months from the deal that you have to apply from an existing ANZ product. No 12 months wait.

      • how long after you met the spend criteria did the points get credited?

  • +4

160k deal far better and setup of an everyday deposit account is dead simple.

  • +1

This also charges for qantas fee per card holder and supplementary holders, as well as another rewards fee per card holder and supp holders.

  • What’s the income test for this credit card? Does anyone have any suggestions for bonus points credit card’s with income tests below $25k?

    • +1

      $75000

    • One of the Virgin Money cards was 35k from memory, as are many other non-platinum cards. If velocity points suit you they offer a decent amount for the card price.

  • +2

Definitely not a deal when there is 160k available thru the app for those with an easy to open savings account.. Negging on that basis so the deal doesn’t grow legs!

    • Just checking that deal can only be seen by existing customers, is that right?

      • +1

        right

    • -2

I've since joined ANZ as a banking customer and as of today I can confirm the deal of 160k is not longer available

      • Honestly! Have you read the comments in this thread how to see the 160k deal!?
Not going to help any further unless you read the posts!

  • +6

160k available for the same card, requirement, and annual fee. Just got my 160k. Dont forget another 20k from Qantas if you haven't held a qff earning card last 12 months! And got targeted

    • how long after you met the spend criteria did the points get credited? waiting for mine now

      • gotta wait until the end of the statement period - so could be anywhere from 1-4 weeks depending on when your statement date are.

        • i met the min spend last week - statement generated yesterday and only got credited for points earned on spend (around 3800) i called ANZ and they said can take up to 1-2 months after spend is met to get the points :/

          • +1

@offthetap: you can login to ANZ on the website - i..e not through the app, you can see where the points have been 'accrued' to your account. "Rewards Points" on the left bar.

If you hit min spend last week, I'm fairly certain it'll be in your next statement. That's exactly what happened to me. I had to wait 4 weeks to see it arrive in my qff account.

What are the chances of getting approved for this (100k or 160k points) while also holding a black rewards card? Should I cancel black rewards first?

    • +1

I got approved then cancelled the black rewards.
They did misgender me 3 times though with the new card.

      • +1

They did misgender me 3 times though with the new card.

        Could you explain this

        • +4

They put Mrs on my card 3 times even though my Profile said Mr.
I had to go in to the branch to get it sorted.
The Call center has been outsourced and can't sort any issues including supplying lounge passes

          • +3

@fadeinthemix: Makes you wonder how good their systems really are eh?

I've had to go into branches for 2 of the big banks this year, for a similar issue - they each had 2 profiles for me, making ID verification a nightmare each time.

            • +1

@andresampras: I found it funny, but new cards take about a week to get to you.
I couldn't use my card for a month waiting for new cards.
Lucky I had stocked up on things I needed to purchase for the sign up bonus

              • @fadeinthemix: Yes that's the other issue, waiting for the card once it's approved.

Either NAB or Westpac, can't remember which now - once you're approved, you can immediately start using the card online via details from the app, even before the physical card arrives.

Not sure why not everyone does this.

                • @andresampras: Westpac have this, can activate a digital card almost immediately upon approval. Was super handy

  • When do they pay the points?

I've spent over the minimum, i've had the card just over a month and they've not paid in the 100K points yet?

    • When you meet the spending requirement and pay off balance.

    • I got mine about half a month after the payment date for the statement where I reached the minimum

    • If you login not via the app but the browser, they'll show the if your bonus is in yet or not. As a reminder they only award points once a month after the statement for the month has been issued.

      • Yeah it's more that I need them less than a week after the statement date.

  • +1

I applied for 160k offer within the app on Monday - was approved Wednesday afternoon (48hrs later)

  • If i have closed an ANZ Rewards Platinum card 9 months ago, am I still eligible for this?

  • Cant find 160k point offer on app or website 😕

  • is anz existing customer offer of 160k still available? tempted to sign up just for this.

    • Yes. Looking at it right now

      • how do I sign up for the 160k points offer?

        • via online banking. you need an ANZ account

          • @Heybargain: Are the 160k points still available. I've signed up for an ANZ account but need to go into town to verify at a branch. Don't want to waste a trip if it's no longer available.

  • can i change my existing credit card to this one and still get the 160k bonus points instead of applying for a new card? I doubt ill be able to get another 15k limit ontop of my existing Anz credit card

  • What are the odds of me getting approved if I have two credit cards already?
Meet the income requirement and always paid bills on time

  • Do we really have to upload 3 months worth of payslips? I get paid weekly so that means I need to extract 12 payslips

Most banks only require 2 weeks latest payslips

    • You don't have to if you don't want the card……

  • Does anyone else have experience with ANZ refunding all or part of the annual fee if you cancel early enough?

    • Anz aren’t known to do so but can’t hurt to ask.
If you’re able to get a refund please report back!

  • Just got my application approved.

Funny how they ask for 12 payslips but their upload page only allows 10 documents max haha

  • Does anyone know if ANZ does annual fee prorata refunds?

    • +1

      Nope

  • i applied and was approved for the 160k qantas points bonus offer in my app on or around the 20th of august, i met the min spend a few weeks ago but when my statement was generated just yesterday i was only credited with around 3800 qantas points (from my spend the previous month) and no bonus points yet.. was wondering how long it took for people to get credited with their 160k bonus qantas points? also no cashback yet either
