$36.65 for those who got the Cashrewards deal earlier today…

  • Great another game I don’t need but will buy…

    • +2

Yeah I know right….another for the draw, never to see the light of day.

At least we can admit it ;-)

      • +5

Atleast it's physical copies, my Steam account over 1k games, played almost none of them lol. FML

        • +1

Might as well just give money direct to gabe to increase his $4billion net worth

        • Steamdeck (when it gets here) might help ;-)

        • +1

900+ from the heydays of $1 bundles?

      • What’s the point?

    • Ahh yes the hamster wheel of buying things you don’t need

  • +7

Didn’t particularly like this game.. ended up trading it in at EB after keeping it for about a week

  • Been watching for this all day, EB put this same deal up earlier today but delivery was 15 bucks (yeah, nah thanks) and click and collect 0 stock within 100km of me. :(

  • +2

This was a great Multiplayer game for about a month on release… wish they'd make this game free with Nintendo online to get the player base up.

  • +1

The rare occurrence where amazon has an awesome deal on a switch game and they aren't price matching anyone

    • +2

It's a copy of this deal but with free shipping: https://www.ebgames.com.au/product/nintendo-switch/231765-ma…

      • +3

Wow nice! I searched everywhere and couldn't find it. Out of all places they are matching EB Games lol. EB Games always have the worst prices so it didn't cross me to check

Thank you for this link. WIll buy this Mario Tennis Aces now but must pay extra $5.95 for delivery.
        Total Price: $45.90
A bit extra but still worth it.

I love most things Mario but this game was surprisingly dull and got traded in fairly quickly.

Would your opinion change if it is $40?

      • I last played the 3DS version and even back then it was a tough sell at full price. Really is sad to see how lacklustre recent iterations are compared to the game boy colour cart.

      • +1

No. It’s not worth that to me. My 8 year old liked it for a couple of days then left it alone. It’s still a polished Nintendo game. Just not that interesting.

But good price for anyone it interests or for anyone that has to have them all!

  • Yoink! Thanks OP

  • Echo others. Didn't like the game physics.
Can only play it in big ball version to make rallies a bit longer but then it makes it look very silly.
Sad there are no new genuine tennis games for switch.

  • +1

this is the worst mario game that i have ever played, i bought this game and played it for 4 days and straight away i have to sell it off on gumtree.

I lose the game because i broke the racket is stupid. and the map where you play tennis on a pirate ship makes me rage quit the game. The ball always bounce off from the sail pole and goes the other way.

    100% NOT recommended this game

  • Is it any better than the tennis in switch sports? I cant imagine the concept sustaining a whole game

    • I haven't played this one, but Mario Tennis has been going back to the N64. I know when I played the GBC version, it was a bit mixed up as an RPG where you go to a tennis acdaemy and progress.

      • +1

My kids played the 64 version way more than Mario Tennis.

  • +1

Is this as good as Super tennis was on the SNES? My friends and I placed more value in the rallies you could have after the point had already been won than the actual point itself.

  • The chances of this game coming in handy are low… but not zero ;) thanks OP

  • Is it any good for young kids on local multiplayer?

  • When does this deal end?

  • This game is fun for multiplayer but gets frustrating on single player as you get more advanced. It becomes less about skill and just about luck - the computer opponents pull off the most impossible shots to return at all the key moments. At this price I think you will get value and enough fun time to justify the cost.

  • Traded it back in within two weeks of day 1 release but there have been so many updates since then that $40 is worth another look

  • Ordered. Me and my kid will love it. Thanks OP.

  • Was waiting for this. Thanks OP. And to think, I literally just installed the Wii U version on my PC moments before seeing this. The N64 and gamecube versions are great too. Underappreciated series imo.

  • Wanted to buy but OOS now at Amazon.
    Too bad, miss out.
Had waited for this game to drop price the last 6 month, to complement my Mario Golf Super Rush (purchased at discounted $40 from Harvey Norman about 3-4 months ago).
Just found out Mario Tennis Aces available on EB Games now but need to add $5.95 for delivery.
This game seldom discounted so still worth it I reckon.

Am I confused? Isn't this a 4-5 year old game?

    • …. it was released worldwide on June 22, 2018.

      • +2

Cheers. Yeah I might be expecting too much, but can't square a $40, over 4 year old game with a bargain. 4 years is like 4 decades in game world. I get it's Nintendo and that it's Mario but even still.

  • It's a shame one of the best RPG makers is chained to these Mario games! Give us another Golden Sun please
