Purchase ANY nbn™ plan today and receive $50 Kogan.com credit

    So even from iiNet?

      Kogan nbn

  • This is not a bad deal.

    Take 100/20 for example: $78.90 * 4 = $315.60 - $50 = $265.60

    Superloop: $68.95 * 4 = $275.80

    Kogan also uses IPOE protocol

The maths assumes you're buying something from Kogan that you would have bought to the value of $50.

$50 off your internet bill would be better.
And you're applying over 3mths. The $69 My Republic/Superloop is $10 off for 6mths. So is $20 cheaper over 6mths.

      • Is switching ISP a seamless experience? As in, doing so won't result in any downtime (a few hours should be fine but not a day)

I’m hfc and it’s usually straight away. I think with Kogan you don’t even need to configure the router.
I switched from mate to Exetel and I needed to configure router. Initially Exetel gave me invalid details and I had to call.

        • It's usually fairly seemless, the worst most people have to do is restart their modem when their change happens.

But occasionally the RSP/NBNco screw it up. But it shouldn't take a day to fix,

Like @fozzie I've only been on HFC and have only had one issue many years ago which the RSP missed a config setting which had me down for an 30 mins whilst they fixed it.

If you have fttp, you can actually connect to a new provider on a second port before disconnecting the first one.

      • So I can't use the $50 to offset my 4th month NBN?

        • No, it looks like it's for shopping at kogan.com only

          • @M00Cow: oh what a stitch up

            • @Homr: If you were going to move to Kogan Internet, it's good, but that's about it.

They might be better offering free Kogan First whilst you remain connected with them instead.

              • @M00Cow: I have used kogan internet before and they were very good. I only moved away from them because better pricing elsewhere. E.g Superloop $68.95

Can I use kogan credit to pay for the bill?

    • +1

      No

  • Sorry, this is not a good deal. The Superloop full price is already cheaper (even though it offers double the upload speed at the 25/10 band) and the current Superloop deal makes it even cheaper at $10-20/month off for the first 6 months on top of the already cheaper prices.
