Good deal, though keep them out of any sunlight especially if you're planning to eat these past the best before date.
Once they start drying up, it's like chewing a plastic bucket handle.

    • This probably explains why the short expiry blue dinosaur protein bars I got from amazon are rock hard

      • +1

Those were by far the worst tasting bars I've ever had.

        • Completely agree. They were hard to eat.

If you're in Liverpool NSW you can buy a box for $10, only Carmel flavour i think, i got one box a week ago, they're fine, don't have white on them from air or not being at a dry place and normal temperatures. Expiry date is December. Not sure name of the store but they are located in the street across main Westfield entrance, on the left hand side where Liverpool Vinnies is, where old Subway restaurant used to be, Macquarie Street. The store sells all kind of bargain products, food, hygienic home etc, can't miss them.

  • Delivery $6.95

Looks like only the fudge brownie flavour are short-dated.

I've tried all 3 flavours listed, and wasn't expecting the Apple Crumble to be my fave! Still haven't found a flavour in their range I don't like. Great as a replacement meal or decent snack while on the go.

    • The other 2 expire one week later than the brownie flavour.

For something called 'Carb Killa' these have a surprising amount of carbs.. 25g per serve.. so no good for Keto

    • +1

It's actually 15.2g of carbs per serve which is 60g. It's 25.g carbs per 100g.

      • -1

        Quote from the site…

        24g of carbs per serve

But even 15g per serve isn't really keto.

        • No, you’re wrong, Look at the actual nutritional info in the photos. The Catch of the Day site description is wrong.

            @telf22: As I said… Quote from the site !!!

            • @crunchyhead: Lol what’s your point? Still wrong which is what I was highlighting

The white choc looks to have 90% less carbs. A couple friends of mine who did Keto used to make their own - possibly something to look into?

    • +2

They include polyols in their carb count, though.

      • +2

The polyols are largely Maltitol, which the body converts into a carb. Usually at about 60%, but everyone is different.

    Heaps of Maltitol in these.

    You have been warned.

    • I think the 7-11 low sugar slurpee..the mix of 968 (Erythritol) and 955 (Sucralose) gets close to beating these for that…
