  • Is Coles mobile with telstra?

    • +3

Coles is Optus. Woolworths & Aldi is Telstra.

  • So if my family (3 people) are all on a shared Optus account, on 3 different sim only plans, what would be the consequence of switching to prepaid sims, apart from no data sharing/having to port numbers over? I swear when I was on a prepaid Optus sim, I was treated as inferior to those who were on a plan in terms of data speed.

I can confirm that coles mobile has lower speed when compared to Optus plan sims. I have tested this previously so promptly moved on to boost when my 1 year was done .

  • Ia this also available in Coles physical store? Would love to purchase with my flybuys dollars. Thanks.

Cheap but personally not recommended from my own experience from quality and service.

    • Set your expectations appropriately. Budget price ~ budget service.

Had to abandon this with data outstanding as somehow they are MVNO Optus partner that actually had worse reception than its parent.
Maybe they have a QOS set on the service in line with the price. At least in my area it was terrible when it was needed.

      • Ya but boost is pretty good when compared to coles mobile. Also amaysim which also uses Optus network is better than coles mobile and sometimes has similar pricing.
