s7 got sonic mopping which is way better and brush is also better

I just ordered an s5 max today. Saw this deal and considered switching, but I'm sticking to my guns with the s5 max. I've already been burnt by the Deebot N8.

I bought it because it was cheap ($399) and had a lot of good reviews. I used it for a month and returned it because it was just really poor compared to what I had before which was the Xiaomi mi bot first gen.
* Navigation was bad, took a long time to maneuver around objects. It just bumps around way too much.
* Mapping app was bad. App has 2.3 stars. The map always eventually gets corrupted and you have to start over. Even when opening the app it seems to reload the map and progress from scratch every time, it's just so slow!
* Mopping was average.I personally don't understand why it has gotten a high rating in the reviews.
Needs bags. No thanks.

Have a dreame handheld version and has performed well. The only thing I have to say is that it doesn't have google integration from the looks of it. Got the Uoni one, and it has done well so far.
According to Dreame description “Supports Alexa and Google Assistant to put automatic cleaning at the tip of your tongue.”
One review I watched said they basically couldn't get the Google Integration to work (even when using the phrases Dreame indicate to use) - but they did get it to work with Alexa
Have the L10 Pro which I believe is this unit without the auto empty. Google assistant allows me to do things like : start cleaning, where's my vacumn , dock the vacumn and similar. Sadly I can't do things like "start cleaning the kitchen" or "start cleaning the bedroom" so if I want specific areas//rooms it's best to use the app. Since this is pretty much how we tend to clean rather than the whole house at once then pretty much use the app for everything.
That is interesting. I didn't see it being mentioned clearly on the Ebay Post.

Yeah but not all obstacle avoidance is the same, this wont have the right sensors to go around small items left on the floor. i.e. the Z10 model has proper obstacle avoidance.
Debating 2 of these vs 1x Roborock S7? Maybe set one dream for hard floors the other for carpets. Get it done half the time as well
I decided 2x D10's. I think it will be better value for money overall

Large house, sometimes I can't stand the sound for too long, sometimes have guests coming, can clean half the time, double the clean power, have a large fury dog… Many reasons.
You can't race them with just one.

Bought this model few weeks ago
Having issues getting it connected to the Xiaomi Home app on my Google Pixel 6 phone. Have already reached out to support, they said their manager would be in contact to assist. Yet to test with another phone as I don't have another phone to test with.
If I just use it without the app so far so good and does a pretty good job for my small apartment. But I want to use it with the app for scheduling cleans and no-go zones etc.
This deal sucks! 🙃
