I prefer Gigabyte more "Bang" for the buck…

Do you think this would be enough power for an rtx 4080 and Intel 13700k? I'm planning a build like that later, and I'm keeping an eye out on parts that I could start buying sooner, gradually.

This question would sounded like sarcasm just 2-3 years back lol

At this point, anyone wants to upgrade to the new gen CPU or GPU’s are going to be looking at basically a brand new system.

    • I’d wait for PSUs with better transient response and even better the option for a 16 pin power connector given these are likely to become more common on higher end GPUs.

    • Same. Was wondering the same thing. It seems to be ok.🤷‍♂️ I tried checking If it had any known issues but couldnt find any…

I don't trust msi. Dodgy company.

    • How come?

  • HODL. Next gen PSUs for the 4000 series are coming and their going to be the same price. You get more bang for buck.

    • Wouldnt bother with this old gen 1000W PSU if you're aiming to build a new rig with Ryzen 7000/ Intel 13th gen or RDNA3/ 4000 series GPU. In less then a months time well have new CPUs, PSUs, all that good jazz.

  • when the heck are the 1200w+ psu on sale?
