The RAM needs to be at least 10 times that size

        … he's absolutely right :-|

  • 1 review and its bad

    • That review is fake or meant for a different laptop. This laptop was only released a few months ago

  • +1

Personally I would go for this one previously posted https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/719534

    • I had a look at that one it has better specs but was not as portable for the primary school kids. Good for adults.

  • What is the difference with the old surface laptop go? Have the old one during iPad trade in

Seem spec the same, except the CPU

  • -4

Just remember folks, the specs are all fine to run most basic work and media you'll want to do at home. However if you're not willing to step down from a full HD screen, then the blurry resolution on the Laptop Go 2 can be a real deal breaker. All in all, not bad deal if you can put up with the small screen and lack of full HD, but this isnt going to compete with any Macbook.

    • but this isnt going to compete with any Macbook.

Low end laptop compare with high end Macbook XD

Of course it won't compete with gaming laptop.

    • Remember folks, this Mercedes is a better car than that Hyundai i30

  • +2

This is a great portable laptop. Those who need the screen real estate or pixel peep maybe disappointed.

Great for commuters and those who dock to dock for regular office work.

Things to note: no backlit kb

    • yeah, it’s built to a size …..idea is when you get home use external monitor via dock the cpu built in graphics will drive 4k 30 fps or 1080p at 60 fps which is fine for office type work ….

  • Using the first gen ( got it second hand 90%new at great pric) and very happy for just uni use. Finger scan unlock is cool!

Note: finger unlock does not work for little children have tried for my 5 year old daughter as their prints are undeveloped and not suitable for the finger print reading in case anyone is wondering.
