    Yep our v18 has been great value for money, the dock is great and the performance is good. Only minor annoyance is I always have to put my hand into the dust bin to empty properly but that's likely due to all the dog hair. Mrs loves it as it's really use to manoeuvre

    Interesting, I thought the bare floor (tiles) performance was great, compared to a vax vx63

    Edit: the poor score seems to be from large debris getting stuck which is something I have experienced. The suction is great just don't suck anything up large enough to be picked up

      Seems to have an adjustable front gate - does that help at all?

      I've placed an order, time to replace the old Dyson DC45 I got when Masters was closing down, battery is cooked on it - it's only used for quick tidy ups upstairs so not our main driver, this looks like it will do the job.

  Guys what's the difference between the two?

  The V16 seems to have an upholstery brush (accessory#6) which the V18 does not list. Instead it lists a "Mini cleaning brush".

  Also the V16 shows a flexible tube in picture 8 but doesn't list it in the accessories list.

  And in pic 3 of the V18 it shows >= 20000Pa. But I can't find the spec for the V16 for that suction power?

    Checking on Amazon comparison table, it seems like the only difference is the V18 has a dust sensor. Interestingly enough, the V16 listing on Amazon says 22kPa.

    @evocable can you confirm if the V18 comes with the mini upholstery brush head please?

      Yes it comes with a rotating upholstery brush head, pretty much the same as the main head but smaller.

      iirc the difference with the v16 and v18 was the battery: the v16 uses cheaper generic cells and the V18 uses Samsung cells
