Kogan Mobile Prepaid Voucher Code: SMALL (365 Days FLEX | 80GB) - $99 @ Kogan

540

Part of the Fathers day deals, Kogan is offering their own $99 365 day mobile plan (about $8.13 per month), but you get 80 GB of data compared to the usual 60 GB. No international calls as far as I can tell.

You need to purchase the sim before the 26th of August, but the voucher itself should last until 11:59 PM AEST, 30/09/2022.

Consider purchasing a $100 Kogan voucher from Cashrewards for a 2% cashback.

  • Read somewhere you can't use kogan vouchers for kogan mobile? best to double check

    • I just purchased one myself, albeit using Choice gift cards, but it's the same thing.

You need to add the gift cards to your account as credit first before going to purchase the sim; then the credit will show up on your account and you have the option to use it as a payment method.

      Try this link: https://www.kogan.com/au/giftcard/

Every single time I activate a new Kogan sim I immediately start to receive spam email from online casinos and whatnot. This has occurred for more than three years. Anybody else confirm?

I’m using the Kogan UNIDAYS $1 SIMs and I haven’t got what you’ve been getting

    • i switched over from Vodafone to Belong today and soon as i switched over i started to receive spam calls.
With Kogan infract i never got any spam calls. When registering with Kogan there is a option provided where you can check to state you dont want the number to be listed in public directory , however when registering with Belong that option never came.

    • Nope

    • Never got that. Don't know where else you're putting your email.

Perfect, got the Amaysim $99/60GB plan last year but it'll renew at $129. This is exactly what I need :)

  • Does anyone know if we can receive sms overseas free of charge?

    • Yes. Free incoming sms. Great for authentication of websites and apps.

  • Can this be used for existing Kogan service or only new?

    • +1

Says "Offer is valid for new and existing Kogan Mobile customers"

"If you are already a Kogan Mobile customer, simply login to your account and use your voucher to recharge"

Fine print also says can't be used for subsequent recharges

  • Thanks came in the nick of time for me!

  • How is Kogan compared to Boost or competitors? I'm currently on Aldimobile and looking for 365 day plans since Aldi only does it at certain times.

    • Based on some quick research, I think Boost offers more functionality and capabilities than Kogan. Coles as well has some VoLTE, which I don't think Kogan offers. Internet speed and coverage is YMMV.

However, I think this deal is the cheapest per GB of the recent 365 day deals.

      • I believe Kogan is in the middle of rolling out VoLTE, as just a few days ago I, (and a few others on whirlpool) now have access to VoLTE and VoWIFI
but yes I believe the main reason to go with Boost is the full Telstra network and the international calls

    • Boost uses Telstra network, so they have the best coverage. Kogan uses Vodafone, so depends on coverage in your area and where you use it, for me it's all the same.

Can someone please provide me with with advice which information I need from boost to then input into Kogan to port my number from Boost to Kogan? Do I need to call Boost or can I find all I need in the boost app? Thank you!

So I just bought what I thought was this plan at this subtly different link: https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-mobile-prepaid-voucher-co… , and when I added it to my Kogan Mobile account it is actually 12gb/month for 12 months.

Doesn't appear to be 'flex' despite the wording on that pages description. However it's a heap more data for the same price for those like me that have relatively consistent data usage.

    Kogan error in my favour!

The link doesn't matter I got the same using the original link.

The rookie error I made was recharge when I still had a month left on my plan, that's now gone :(

    • Could be because you’re a current member and didn’t need a sim?

    • Anyone else get this?

    • +1

Haha! Just bought and used the voucher. In my case it's Small 365 Flex, but with 120GB of data.

      • +1

Yep me too, just purchased it and can confirm as an exisiting customer it ended up being 120GB.

  • OP you meant 2% gift cards on ShopBack.

  • As a new customer can I buy the $2.90 20gb 30 day sim, activate it asap and then buy this voucher to use once the 30 days are up? I don't see why not but just checking.

Another question, are 1800 numbers included in free calls? Their policy information say 18 numbers are but is that the same thing?

Also can I use an unused sim card they previously sent me to activate the plan or do I have to wait for the one they send out?

Shopback currently have a challenge in their app where if you buy $100 kogan gift card, you can bonus $20 kogan gift card, in additional to 2% cash back.
The $20 is received quite quickly but has a end of Aug 2022 expiry date.
These are evouchers. Important - add the $20 first, before you add the $100.
Then grab this sim for $99, leaves you credit balance of $21 which expires 31 Dec 2025.

    • Damn wish I knew this yesterday, just bought the Kogan gift card and then this deal.

  • +1

this is still going, hasn't expired, yet…

  • I bought this and when i activated the plan i got 120GB instead of 80GB for some reason

  • When does the deal expire?

  • offer is still there and I got 120gb for 12 months- $99.00 . cashback 1.50. not bad .

  • Back to $120 now
