    Sounds great!

But then I looked up reviews on Amazon, and saw comments about the slow speed of this thing making it no more effective than hand scrubbing.

Then I saw an actually video in the reviews. Wow, it is SLOW. I was hoping for a mini drill effectively, to scrub my pots better than I can do by hand.

I’ll pass on this. Just wanted to let anyone else know who might be interested to watch out for the slow speed. Check out a video in the reviews on Amazon.

    Thanks anyway, OP!

Saved me $36 and some space, thanks legend.

    • Yeah, it's very slow and useless.
I wish I had paid more attention to Amazon reviews and watched the video before purchasing.

Good thing you can cancel orders.

    • Honestly $50 still seems very expensive for what it is. I expect to see stuff like this at the $2 store.

  • Thanks OP , this is 3.6V , the Ryobi at Bunnings is 4V and is priced $49 , which i think is better.

    • Likely same li-ion power source. Some manufacturers cheat and state a voltage towards the upper end of the charge- (ax 4.2v per cell), rather than the nominal 3.6v.

Have one, runs very slowly, would be better off with a drill attachment for most things.

  • +6

Just add a brush kit to your existing drill.
    Can be got for $15-25.

    • Concern there is water rating when using it to scrub tiles etc

      • +1

I use Ryobi drill brushes, which last way longer than the cheap eBay/Amazon ones, attached to a cordless hammer drill (an impact driver would also work). I wet the tiles & grout first, then apply shower cleaner aka bleach and run the brush over it. Splashback is minimal, occasionally you may have to wipe the drill down if you're concerned about it getting wet.

You're not supposed to pour water on your drill. Unless youre scrubbing the ceiling, it will be fine.

  • Better than using an old electric toothbrush I reckon. Got one, thanks.
