  Does buying on itunes mean that i always have to use an apple device to play it? ie. I can't watch it on my android tv using app from google shop (without an apple device)?

    Dont quote me mate, however i would think it works via appletv (at least it does on an appletv in the tv app)

      can't get apple tv on googleplay it would seem, and tv doesn't have it.

    I think a lot of the newer TVs do have the Apple TV app built in, my parents' Samsung has it.

    Both semice and timliu1996 above are right.
    If you buy something on iTunes, it will show up in your AppleTV+ app now.

    You can simply go to the android tv app store and download the apple tv plus app and log in with the same id that you used to purchase on iTunes and you will see it there.

    Apple is one of the few that don't separate 4K and HD. They have the same pricing.
