Garmin Fenix 6 Pro Watch - Black $570 Delivered @ Wild Earth

220

$4 cheaper than the prices at JBhifi or Myer deals here, but consider if cashback + discounted gift cards at jbhifi and myers would exceed the $4 discount.

Solid retailer.

Below are also others on sale but I'm not sure they're deals:

  • Garmin Instinct 1 is also on sale for $245 but it's been replaced with a newer model.
  • Garmin Fenix 6 Pro Solar $1,135
  • Other Garmin Watches on sale

xsacha reports that if you add to cart and don't check out - you might get emailed a $25 voucher to use as part of their abandoned cart process.

Official website also shows $574

Have used this watch for about 1 year. Great battery life, great tracking features. The watch band often gives me irritation though (never happened with any other watch), and the smartphone features aren't the best. Still an excellent watch if you're big into fitness and outdoors, and want great battery life. Otherwise you're better off with an actual full smart watch.

I too had a reaction to a Garmin watch band. Googling shows it is a very common thing. Some people report if you tell Garmin they will send you an alternative. I had already purchased an alternative.

I find the silicone used in their OG bands to be irritating too, also flimsy as hell. Try Ozstraps. Their bands (I find) are a better material, more robust, and have not given me irritation.

    • My skin irritations went away as soon as I started washing the bands and back of the watch every couple of days and drying them properly before putting back on. Never had skin irritations with any of my previous Fitbit or analogue watches but probably because I didn't exercise as hard with them.

      • It seems all stock Garmin bands have this skin reaction - I recently got the Epix Gen 2 and had really bad rashes from the stock band especially after hitting the gym or getting the band wet.

The Ozstraps bands are hypoallergenic so no more reactions!

If you intend to use maps, the touchscreen on the Fenix 7 is worth considering at $849. You also get even longer battery life and a glass cover over the sensor to avoid possible skin irritation in some people.

FWIW I had no skin reaction to the stock Garmin bands.

I haven't had any skin reactions using the Garmin Fenix 6s pro. I'm really liking the watch. I took it snowboarding but I didn't find it all that useful since it was under my sleeve and it's a pain to see. Haven't figured out where people put it to read the ski field maps. I didn't really need it
