  • Good buy. If you are not into Noca Boost.

    • What's the difference?

      • +1

pricing. Noca Boost 150 cots $400+

  • Before anyone asks… yes you can keep it in your car out of direct sunlight (at least it works well for me) Yes it holds charge very well, and it will power my 12v electric blanket for about an hour.

    • Mine died after 2 years with the fault reading 'over discharge', yet i was charging it every month or 2

      • shouldnt be charging every month… with any powerbanks !! unless you are jump starting your vehicle every month. In that case should be using a hybrid battery that does not discharge and keep the current.

        • +1

Hmm, their manual says every 3 months, and their support advised me to treat it as I did for longevity, so…

          Okay

    • How long have you had it for?

  • This or Rooboost? Been reading some reviews and they seem to edge Gooloos out just slightly, except we don't normally see deals for those around here on OzB because they've been banned for sockpuppeting…

  • I bought Gooloo Titan Series GP2000 Jump Starter from Amazon over a year, charged it once and left in the car, topped the charge again after few month. I took it out of the car couple of days ago to charge it again and found it has no power at all, connected to the charger for few hours and nothing happening apart from the first battery indicator blinks all the time. According to the manual trouble shooting:
The unit is over discharged or defective and to contact xxxxx
What a waste of $$$ for a device I never got to use and died out. I then checked review and others seem to report the same issue.

    • Exact same happened to me

      • Did they replace / refund or said what is the cause? I just sent them email today and waiting for response.

        • Unfortunately mine is 1.5 years old (maintained as the manual said) so I didn't even try

          • @teacherer: They told me the warranty is 18m (12+6m), but according to their website it is 12+12m. You should send them email, then they will ask for order No from Amazon and picture of the device. Then, they (fiona) should be able to offer you replacement or full refund.

        • Same thing happened to me and they gave me a full refund. They wanted a pic of the product, which is pretty dumb cos it just shows the charger sitting there but I sent it anyway.

          • @00broke00: So you sent picture of device and invoice? Did you buy from Amazon as well? I don't know how to find the invoice?

            • @huntabargain: Yeah i got from Amazon. I'm pretty sure the invoice is just in the confirmation email isn't it?

    • Out of interest did you try using a different plug to charge it? I found that it wouldn't charge through my Anker 6-port thingo, but was fine when I used the one that came in the pack. Just something to check…

      • I used the charger which came with the pack.
I just tried to connect the USB C to another wall USB outlet but after 30 sec it start to flash as well.

  • Is it worth paying $42 more for the GT4000S? 100W USB PD two-way charging seems like a significant upgrade.

    • Don't waste your $$$, they seem to fail after 1-2 years as reported by many users.

      • That is unfortunate. Nearly pulled the trigger.
