    Is this website secure?

I had to log in and +1 this. Legitimate concern.

    • Likely fine, though agreed that it looks pretty dodgy. It's secured and using eWay payment gateway.

They've posted a few deals here before and other than not being particularly great, there aren't any other complaints.

I don't understand this testing bxxshit, if it's not so severe why we have to waste so much money

There are still vulnerable members of society. We should still be doing what we can to minimise the spread.

I take one before seeing an immunocompromised friend, if negative I'll feel a little better knowing that I'm not infectious for the RAT to pick up. Very useful in my case. If I was symptomatic I'd do a PCR test.

Some PCR tests also cover Flu and cold viruses as well now.

And more accurate, I've had covid twice this year 9 weeks apart:

1st time: Third day I was sick, and after two negative RATs I tried a different brand and it showed positive within seconds. PCR confirmed it.
2nd time: Nowhere near as symptomatic, I did three RATs, two different brands, had a faint line on one. PCR confirmed it.

Depends on how valuable your time is but I'm starting to think it's worth spending an hour trying to find an open testing centre. I put two high risk family members at risk both times based off false negatives.

      • yep i went at 8 am and got my pcr result at 2 pm.
        Hassle free

  • no detection of the latest covid. No Ba.2,3,4,5

  • Based off the previous post, there are a few tests on Amazon for only marginally more.
