    That's the standard T7, this one is shield. A tad faster and a water resistant case.

  Does a faster NVME SSD make a difference when compared to the slower portable SSD?

  I just use my computer for playing games, web browsing with lots of tabs, and some productivity.

    Transfers no not much. External games likely but dpends on your cumputers capasity. Overall beyter than a hdd for sure and more durable than a 2.5inch standard SSD
