        The app will not work when I click on a store. I made a complaint and they said they cannot do anything about it. They should atleast honour the sign up bonus but they did not as it is their fault that the app doesn't work.

          Yeah sent them an email about it in July and got the standard "Please note that Big W may take up to 145 days to approve cashbacks…" response.
          Just sent them another email this morning.

              @ilovefullprice: It's actually the 146th day today (from the order date of 14th April). Also, I usually wouldn't expect the full listed 145 days to be how long it to takes for cashback to be confirmed.

                @klef: Keep in mind these guys are new, so I would in fact expect the full 145 days, or maybe a week or 2 more to give them grace.

        When I told them about the problem. This is the reply I got

        Nothing about resolving this issue or honouring the signup bonus.

      Yep, they honour in chronological order of when you activated them. So two transactions are required.

          • @[Deactivated]: I made two separate purchases (clicked the store, ordered, left store then clicked the store again), showing up as 2 items on my click history yet my cashback tracked together as one transaction.

            I tried to make two individual purchases to claim both bonuses, will this bug affect me from doing so? Cheddar seems to think I only made one order even though I clearly made two.

            • @dogsryummy: Same thing happened to me. Bought at chemistwarehouse then made another transaction 3 hours later but tracking combined the 2. If you look in your click activity it does show 2 separate clicks though.

              • @attalisie: No need to worry @attalisie, there will be two separate transactions on the backend so your bonuses won't be impacted. Woo!

                The combining of transactions on the front-end is a pesky bug we're working on squashing.

                Same thing happened to me (two seperate Chemist Warehouse transactions combined by the cheddar app), and both purchases got cash back approved today except for the the $50 signup bonus that is still pending. I did get the referral bonus approved however, so it seems I'm not going to get the 50 bonus…

        If you sign up to Cheddar with this $50 bonus, you can't earn a $25 referral bonus as a referee. You can however earn the $50 bonus and refer friends to earn a $25 referral bonus as a referrer.

        If you ever have multiple Cheddar bonuses in your profile, the approval (and linking of qualifying purchases) is based on the order that bonuses were activated.

    Is just a suggestion, got some transactions at 100+ and still pending, which has been pretty consistent with my experience, although they do confirm 'eventually'.

      Its crap. Emailed about a transaction i made 140+ days ago that wasn’t approved until I reached out.

    My Big W purchase and $50 sign-up bonus which took place on 14th April are still pending.

    It's been 146 days since that day….

    That said, I've found Cheddar customer support responsive and helpful. Had another transaction that didn't track, customer support rectified that issue quickly once I sent them the required proof.

      Fouth this - Their response is quick. Apart from that BigW CB takes a long time … It took me almost 6 months.

    • Was in the same situation until today.
      Cheddar's customer support got the sign-up bonus approved even though the cashback was still yet to be approved on Big W's end.
      Will give Cheddar another go, but probably not with Big W purchases.

        1 issue (Big W transaction still pending beyond the 145 days stated for approval) has led to a second issue ($50 sign-up bonus being declined), which I'm now at the mercy of customer support of having rectified.

    I used this for menulog, the cash back got tracked twice and it still hasn't been approved 3 months later

    So if we use the referral link, is there a special code also to apply when signing up for the extra $50 for new customer?

    I'm just hesitant to use a referral link if they only honored the $25 from referral link and not give the bonus $50 offered here.

    Also, if using referral link and chasing the $50 too, what is the spend requirements of each transaction?

      To get this bonus you need to sign up through this offer. It can't be stacked with being referred but you can still refer others to Cheddar and earn a bonus!

        Happy to confirm as long as two qualifying purchases are made (one for each bonus) and both meet the bonus terms, they'll both be approved.
        If only one qualifying purchase is made only one bonus will become approved. In this case the approval is based off the first bonus offer that was activated.

  • Their uber eats tracking is horrendous. I think because it opens up on a mobile browser as opposed to their own browser.

      It used to be worse, on the app not showing any tracking at all. Recently, they implemented “click history” tab on the app, which my UE was tracked there.

      There are getting better and clearly all these deals are in return us lab rats testing for them.

  • Guys, I noticed if you click a referral link it opens the app with a $25 bonus offer, however if you click through on the https://www.getcheddar.com.au/commbank it opens the app with $50 offer.

    I am not sure you can stack these as it presents a different amount depending on if you choose to click through a referral link or the one here https://www.getcheddar.com.au/commbank
