Problem is what Hitler did was not different to what other leaders have done in the past, present and even in the possiable future. There will always be someone that is the enermy back then it was Jews today its Muslums, Westerners need to stop believing what the U.S. govenment tells you. Because those idiots are the ones orchestrating it all. The American govenment is no different to that of the Nazi's. they have done horrific crimes against humanity, and if it gets out into the media then they put them in jail like they did with julian assange who found the truth about the U.S. govenment. Did they trail the U.S. for war crimes? nope.. they just let it go like every other thing the U.S. are allowed to get away with. That is the EVIL that is in this day and age.

              @kungfuman: It is a lamentable truth that - as your post is living proof of - there are many truths that would cause great unrest to the worldwide populace if they knew of half of the tough decisions that governments make every day in search of the greater good. People are inherently fallible, and it is easy to throw rocks from glass houses, not least when you will never be the person capable of rebuilding said house, nor responsible for safeguarding millions of others.

              To suggest that the current US government is no different to that of Nazi's belies a complete lack of understanding of history and morality.

                Yes, he had an violent father but the story is more complex than that. He was also a low ranking soldier in WW1 who twice won the Iron Cross for bravery. Perhaps he was traumatized in war too? Perhaps being a penniless artist in his younger days build up huge hatreds and resentments?
                Many others have experienced abusive parents, poverty and war trauma without murderous outcomes.
                Hitler's psychology and inner motivations are largely speculation.

                @1st-Amendment: I think there is quite a difference. In the past, you can chalk it up to scarce resources or a mode of political organisation which would make these things inevitable- imperialism, tribalism etc. Also, I wonder how much of the death in the video can be directly attributed to murder, rather than disease, starvation, displacement etc. With the Nazis, you had the most enlightened and advanced country in the world doing something which had not been done before: employing the massive and well organised state apparatus in a systematic way to enact entirely dispassionate mass murder, as well as sterilisation. Killing was conducted by a very efficient bureaucracy and it turned into a mildly unpleasant or mundane task. Scientists were employed to study all the dynamics of the murdering- what kind of chemical is the best, how should we design the chamber with regards to the fluid dynamics of the gas, how can we incinerate people en masse. Philosophers provided an intellectual justification for the atrocity. Regular European imperialism might have done elements of this, but I think it is important to make a distinction here. The "scientific" and industrial murder they did really has no parallel.

        While I believe Hitler is very bad he tends to take the spotlight for hate. However other people in history such as Stalin, and Mao Zedong were also just as ruthless. History books tend to be more bias and cover Hitler more.

    so i got the quantam physics book and worked out how to build a worm hole to space time travel

    to keep me sane i read the complete novels

    did a bit of reiki healing to keep the lights on

    combined the let's grill and beef cookbook and made some amazing meals.

    thought i'd go back and stop WWII, but then my newly aquired beeef cooking sills helped to bring the big H over from the vegans.

    Does anyone why sometimes when i click on the buy it in one click and usually it should go to Thank you page but it sometimes goes to (pick the kindle / device you are going to read it from) and then no matter what i pick, it comes up with a 404 error. For the books on this list, half of them went to that page. I have been having this happen for the past few weeks with amazon books, but never before.
