    ITS NOTT A TUNA!

I AGREE, THIS IS A WATCH, NOT A FISH

    • I read that in Arnie's voice.

  • This is a big watch btw.

Actually its not, it wears deceptively small. It also looks better with the shroud removed imo, but the problem with that is the body gets even smaller and you notice how tiny the actual watch face is.

        case size of 46.7mm…ummm

        • +2

lug to lug on this watch is just under 46mm and they're very short lugs

        • +2

The lug-to-lug dimensions, lug shape, watch case shape, bezel style, and the size of the physical dial (i.e. not the diameter of the watch) all play a much bigger role in how big a watch will wear than case dimensions.

Compare a 42mm Speedy vs a 43mm IWC Pilot Chrono. There is only 1 mm difference between the diameters but the IWC wears much larger because of the above factors:

Agreed. I have a black one and was surprised at how small it wears. The actual watch face is not as large as the sizing suggests.

They should have called it the White Whale Seiko

    • Yes! Seiko Nigaloo

      • Woah woah woah. We don't use that kind of language round here.

Bullshit (profanity)! No one likes the tuna here!

  • Shares a little with the Omega Alaska Project - white with flashes of metallic red - https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/original-omega-speedmaster…

  • Someone mentioned that the white shell of the watch would fade into yellow while the band ( which is made of Silica Gel) will not—thinking that before your purchase.

    • at that point, i'd just take off the plastic shroud.

  • i'm doing my best to help drive down demand-driven inflation (by not spending) but fml you guys make it hard!

  • Sale already started. Watch is listed at the advertised price on their website.
