Decent deal, as you say for those that missed out previously.

Better, I think, to consider one of three 3G-equipped
netbooks, offered (at the moment) by Wireless1…

You'd pay hundreds more for inbuilt 3G in tab or n'book!

    Each -UNDER- $300 + S+H

    • Samsung N220 ($269)

    • Samsung NC10 ($249)

    • HP mini 5102 ($299)

For neighboring friends - ordering together - can
save you postage, ie, if you COMBINE shipping.

PS I'm getting -out- of tablets, at least when I
am lying in-bed. It's heaps easier to rest a n'book's
keyboard on my belly, than to hold a tab above my chese.

    My 2.2 cents only! :-)

Well this deal was specifically for people who were looking to buy a tablet PC for a reasonable price.

        Right.. ;-)

Actually, I consider any deal might attract several "undecided's" (especially, those just leaving the desktop behind).

Don't you agree that's this is a safer assumption?

(If not, are you a rep…?)

        • Nah not a rep lol.

    • BTW, the higher price for the HP may be due to:

      • 2 GB RAM memory &

      • screen has -higher- resolution (in pels x pels)

PS Which has better reliability reputation?

      • HP? -or-

      • Samsung?

    • "when I am lying in-bed. It's heaps easier to rest a n'book's
keyboard on my belly, than to hold a tab above my chese."

LOL. I bought a netbook for the exactly same reason.

You can still buy Optus My Tabs new from a few suppliers for $150 - $200 and these have integrated 3G (and just about everything else you can put in a tablet!!). I've just travelled interstate using the My Tab as phone, emailer and browser using both 3G (Live Connect/Optus) and WiFi and its a bloody brilliant device at the price, even two years after it was first released.. Optus should roll out another generation but updated to Android V4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)…..

  • The new Acer 7" tablet is coming.

  • Hm. Not sure if good deal or not. With the Google I/O conference coming soon along with the announcement of the nexus tab. At this price this might actually be a below average deal since the nexus tab is expected to be cheaper and quad core too. I would advise people to not buy any 7" tab. Unless of course the galaxy tab 7.7 sells for this price.

  • Have to say, 7" is really small….

  • I got one in the $199 + $10 deal and it's a beautiful tablet for this sort of money. No comparison to anything else in that price range that I've seen.

  • Have anyone bought and received this tablet? Hope it's not a factory-second or refurbished tablet. Or it's not in a factory sealed box etc.

  • I have one of these units. Awesome tablet at this price point. Highest screen Density of any android tablet. 216ppi pixel density.

  • It was recently available for $198 (price match at OF). Otherwise, very good tablet and good price.

    • Does anyone know if Office works will price match an Ebay deal?
