[QLD] Free Sausage Sizzle & Drink @ Computer Alliance (Mt Gravatt)

470

Bunnings snags getting a little too expensive for your tastes? A free sausage sizzle will be happening at the Computer Alliance retail store at 1517 Logan Rd, Mt Gravatt (QLD) on Saturday.

Available until the food runs out

The store opens from 9AM until 4PM. Go there and stick around if you want the chance to win an ASUS TUF 15 laptop. However I couldn't find any info on exactly what time the giveaway happens.

Will the onions be under or on top of the sausage?

Had a few emails from them about this. If I didn't have plans made for me tomorrow, I'd have gone down for this. I need a new headset for work too so legit have something to look for.

    ozbargain meet up lets go

    • If I had my kids this weekend I would bring them for a snag. Home it was goodđź‘Ť Great find OP.

  • A true ozbargainer would take some hot dogs then go try and sell it at the nearest Bunnings lol

  • Anyone want to sell used parts there? Looking for used 3080Ti….

A sausage sizzle at a computer store is a literal sausagefest.

I understand that people's experience differs, but I've really found the customer service at Computer Alliance has gone downhill lately. It's about the same as trying to get warranty at MSY or umart these days, I find.

I bought a new monitor from there and it had problems out of the box. CA were really unhelpful.

    • Nah I bought a full new build from them and the nvme ssd died within 3 months - really unhelpful service in the end I just bought a standard ssd to get the pc going again as can’t afford down time.

Also that place has one of the worst car parks out and is on a super busy road. Pretty much can only visit between like 10-11 and 1-2pm during mondays to Friday’s I find.

100% I gave them a negative google review after an ordeal with a faulty 2080 and the manager effectively blacklisted me from the store, cancelling a future order I made and after checking up on why was basically told it it was due to that.
They try to make you think you're wrong, don't do effective tests and try to charge restock fees for fault returns.

        • Might take my business back to umart , since they moved to the new place in Mansfield

Go there if you're after a dell.

      If you sing:
      Hello, it's me
I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet

      We'll definitely monitor you.

  • Nice!

Support our local small businesses to survive, rather than the Chinese multinationals.

After all in you live in Australia you should support this country rather than an overseas empire which has no allegiance to you.

    Unless……..

    • LOL how is supporting asus day doing anything for local Aussie business?
