Ive been using soda stream / soda king lemon, lime, bitters for $4 at Big W. Sweet as, so don't need much at all. Low sugar (so probably Stevia).

Orange juice, water, LLB, Bourbon ..pour over ice. Tastes like summer!

I call it a New Fashion.

Why do you need a law degree to make it?

Do these go bad? I have a bottle in the pantry from like a 6-7 years ago. It's hard to use up a whole bottle when most drinks only need a small amount…

If you do much cooking, you'll discover all sorts of strange and nice places to put a few drops. It goes great in the base stock of a soup, and as weird as it sounds it also goes really well when you've just finished browning off mince for a chilli if you're using a few aromatic herbs or veggies later on in the recipe.

A couple of drops will also add a lot to a sweet cream (especially whipped, for some reason), and if you do a bit of jams/preserves it apparently adds a bit of depth and complexity there too.

I've also taken to adding a couple of drops whenever I get a bottle of lemonade with a food delivery, since I'm in an I'm-over-coke phase at the moment.

    • I'm hooked on the stuff after using a very old bottle I found at a relative's place. It's just run dry, so this deal is its replacement.

No issues with the very old bottle, so I'd say they don't go bad. Maybe they even improve?

    • The (almost) 45% alcohol content preserves it.

Where can you buy lime juice cordial?

    • Any supermarket will usually have Bickford's Lime Juice Cordial. Some even have an own brand version too. Usually around $3-4 dollars for a bottle.
