    Cool. I'll bite.

    • +16

Don't. It goes in coffee machine

  • +5

cheers mate, put an order in always willing to try newer pods nothing has topped the Illy Coffee Capsules Lungo Classico as of yet.

    • +1

Illy pods are sublime. My alternative are actually dirt cheap Podista Classico 20-pack pods from Foodland.

      • +1

Urbanbrew is part of the same company as podista, but I bit better quality I think.

    • I find the illy the best of the supermarket pods. I think my favourite is the Rossa.

Curious to know what people think of these urbanbrew pods once they try them.

mate that welcome video…I wanna be a part of the brew crew! well done, love the energy.

Site getting ozb'd? Payment page not loading for me

Edit : works now after reloading/waiting

  • +3

    No Guest checkout?

    • Seriously? It’s a promo to get you on their database and you’re cranky because you can’t be anonymous to them.

Try buying full price and if no guest checkout then complain.

      • +17

Since when is a question always a complaint?

      • +6

where does it imply that hes cranky?

      • +1

I got curious. I logged out, make selections, went to checkout and no guest checkout - well not obvious to me anyway.

      • +5

10/10 projection there, why you so cranky….

      • It's a promo to get you to try their coffee for free and enoying them enough to purchase from them in the future, first and foremost. Getting you onto their database is a byproduct, not the purpose of the promotion. You can be guest to check out but still be a successful conversion into a regular customer once that person likes the product on trial. You've totally misinterpreted the promotion and rooon's question.

      • This is why I love ozb.

    • You can always more than welcome to create a dummy temporary account using 10minute email, but then you might need to keep the order number.

Another thing is open up a PO Box account so you can keep your residential address secured from them too

  • +1

Do you have an option to checkout as guest instead of creating an account

I've been purchasing from urban brew for around 2 years now. Happy with them. You receive nice little inspiration notes with your purchases as well, nice touch. They also have a 16 (double shot).

  • if these were compatible with my aldi machine, i'd bite…but no

    • +3

Check their website, you can purchase ALDI compatible pods from them

    • +2

Get a Podstar reusable pod ($50), and then take the grinds out of these pods and fill your EcoPod. That's what I do if ever I get free/discounted Nespresso or incompatible pods. Also allows you to buy ground coffee and try different flavours
      Works a treat.

Ordered to use at work. Cool that it's compostable.

    • Too bad it will most likely end up in landfill with nothing to compost it, and even in a heap likely takes months to years.

The only advantage of coffee pods over an auto machine is the slightly easier cleanup and disposable.

So you're really just paying to have some company to help make you think you're not polluting and being lazy, while you are.

    • +3

      What colours your Bugatti?

    • +2

Anyone who uses beans and an auto machine are dumb and dumberer. Way more cost effective to use instant coffee from your worlplace if you're lazy.

…. See what I did there?

        • +5

          Ive got a manual machine
People who use auto machines are just Lazy
          😏😏😏😏

        • +3

Lol… If this is the hill you'd like to die on, go ahead friend

        • Me thinks you might need a good strong coffee!! :-)

    • +6

Show me on the doll where the coffee pod user first hurt you.

    • +2

They are all pretty much recyclable at pod recycling centres, yes it's not perfect, but it's better than landfill if you care.

    • +2

Maybe you've been on the computer for too long. Go hug a tree and don't take your hate and judgement out on others.

  • -5

What water temperature is best for these?

  • +1

Can’t say no to free coffee.

    • +2

It’s not free if you pay $4!

  • +1

Happy to give 20 pods a try for only $4.

  • Me too. Thanks UrbanBrew.

  • +1

Thanks OP, have “bring your own pods” Nespresso machine at office.

  • Thanks OP
Now where can I buy nespresso machine

  • +1

So the item details for 4$

  • +1

Giving it a go, bit surprised Toowoomba shipping is $7, so it's not really much cheaper than some normal pod packs.

I'm wondering if that is a mistake as I've never had to pay higher shipping before.

    • From their FAQ page:

Standard (Parcel) shipping for metro orders is $4 and to non-metro and country areas will cost $7. Express shipping for metro areas is $9 and for non-metro/country areas it is $12.

      • Weird, charged me $4 for regional VIC, oh well.

  • -5

    $4 shipping = deal breaker

    • Lol, I guess you cannot make everyone happy….

    • $4/20=0.2. 20c per pod isn't bad provided you like the coffee. Everywhere else it's at least 30c minimum. Cost of shipping is high in Australia, we can't expect the shop owner to absorb all of that….

  • Usually grind my own beans at home from my local favourite cafe but my work doesn't have an espresso machine but do have a pod one. They charge $1 a pod at work, so this deal for 20 pods for the cost of P&P ($4) is worth a go even if they're mediocre!

  • Do they fit the new Nespresso machines which use different pods

    • +1

      no

(These pods are only available for FIRST TIME PURCHASE ONLY & compatible with Nespresso® (Original line machines) and legends who like caffeine.

  • +2

Shipping is $4 only if not country areas. Country areas $7, including some of the largest population centres in Australia. FYI only.

  • -2

I get these free pods, then just cut them open and make coffee in my plunger. heh heh heh

  • Well, I tried.

Keep getting "can't start express checkout" when using PayPal.

Good stuff. Received mine today. Just drinking the 'Very Intensity' now and I'm a big fan.

I usually drink the Napoli nespresso pods on a single short shot, on its own (i.e., no milk), so I suspect I'm the target market for these.

Love the bitterness and long-lasting notes, great heavy mouth feel. I don't have the lexicon to provide better detail, but there's a great spice to it.

Pricing looks to be roughly on par with Nespresso pods, perhaps better with bulk order. Naturally much more expensive than half-price pods at the supermarket, but they are in a totally different league on taste.

Looking forward to trying the mind blowing intensity next.

  • +2

    received my free coffee today

    intensity 14 was incredible

  • +1

Received mine - lovely coffee and will be on the customer base

  • +3

Received mine and im not a fan. I dont think its the intensity, but it just has a strange flavour.

  • +1

Received yesterday and is much better than others on the market. The usual nespresso ones are acidic but the intensity 14 was amazing and had that cafe crema which I love

  • Great coffee thank you - loved the samples and I've signed up

  • Received (a few days ago). Not a fan of either the 12 nor 14 tbh.
I've gone from drinking the now discontinued Nespresso Dharkan to Nespresso Starbucks Caffe Verona. Doesn't suit my tastes.
