    Newegg has been bad but still better than amazon. Amazon literally delivered me $1300 worth of HDDs in a paper bag.

      My understanding from all the comments is that Newegg is a mess with RMA whereas Amazon you’re more covered with their return policy?

      Last time i got 2 18TB HDD from Amazon.
      They were in a simply amazon thin paper box without any shock proof…
      Just lucky as they were not damaged.
      
      But returning policy is possibly be easier on Amazon if there is any problem.

Newegg returns are where the pain is. Return is at your cost and they only refund not replace, so if you got a good deal you miss out and only get your $$$ back less shipping.
