Isn't there a rule about not including cashback discounts in the title price?

        • +4

The prices in the title only reflect the 10% off coupon :)

Because Bing Lee doesn't have discounted gift cards, it's actually not!
I picked up the C2 from the Good Guys sale last week.
      Base price $1995
      4% off gift cards
      12% Cashback
Makes it a whopping $2.50 cheaper than this deal 😂

Don't forget, you'd also get $70 TGG Store Cash if you've spent above $800.|

        • Maybe I'm an idiot, but I looked everywhere and didn't find a place to apply the storecash code. Speaking of, in Google wallet it doesn't display any sort of code beyond a phone number. I ended up just emailing them to manually apply it, waiting on a reply for that one

@Ibz: I couldn't find it either. I'm still hoping my purchase will take up a few days for something to work. I've signed up for the Storecash and downloaded to my iOS Wallet prior to my purchase tho.

if you've got a deep desk 80cm+ go the 48" otherwise opt for the 42"……

    • +2

I have 48C1 and it's great but I would much prefer the 42C2. Would have picked 42 if they existed at the time. 48 is nice if you also be back a bit (I'm playing God of War from my bed), but as a monitor I think 42 is much easier to enjoy at the desk.

    • 42 would be much more comfortable if you're using it at a desk. I'm using the C2 42" and would honestly have preferred 40"!

  • Stupid question, where do you put the discount code in?

    • +3

After clicking “Proceed to Checkout”, there should be an “Order Summary” right at the top. That’s where you enter the code :)

Refusing to buy a television until they move their sizing back to metric. It’s what the queen would have wanted.

  • Anyone using M1 Pro/Max Macbook Pro with the LG C2 42" as monitor? Can you get 4K 120hz with 10 bit colour and HDR? If so what kind of cable/setup?

    • +2

Using HDMI, you can't get a high refresh rate. Using USB-C <> DisplayPort gets you high refresh rate but most TVs (including C2) doesn't have a DP.

you are better off buying a PG42UQ, since that has a Display port connector. I have the C2 42" also had the C1 48" and there is absolutely no possible way that I know of to get 120hz 4K, if only Apple would've put HDMI 2.1 port instead of 2.0.

I am seriously considering getting the PG42UQ, since I daily a mac and a pc, and mac at 60hz to me kinda sucks. Though the ASUS PG42UQ is $2299, so way more expensive than this deal here.

Linus's new video on this monitor: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxya-divayE&ab_channel=Linus…

      • I considered that too but it's matte instead of glossy so black is not as black…

      • +1

you are better off buying a PG42UQ

Not if you need a monitor that you want to use any time in the next 6-8 weeks.
