  • Is it good?

    • +1

      Yah is good.

  • Lapsed members?

  • Said I already had a login when I went to register so I logged in and paid the $10 and got the $35 credit. My account shows no previous orders and only this $10 payment under membership invoices so I think I may have only been signed up for the newsletter rather than had a previous membership.

  • I purchased from these guys a couple of days ago. Although they are good in terms of responding to queries here (they confirmed shipping info for the package I purchased from them), they use a terrible courier (at least in my case), called Hunter Express. Google the name of this courier and read through the horrible experiences of costumers. If Skye Cellars does only use this courier, I will certainly look elsewhere for the purchase of wine.

    • Hi there,
As explained via direct message, they have been pretty good for deliveries except some issues for NSW, hence we stopped using them for NSW.
We have been using them for over 8 years now, if we hade major issues, we wouldn't still be using them.
Not trying to protect the courier but these are the facts.
If you are unhappy about this courier in general, please let me know and I will stop the order and resend it via Australia Post.
      Cheers.

      • I have never used or heard of this courier. So, this will be my first experience dealing with them. Hopefully, what you suggest turns out to be correct for my order. If there are issue with the delivery of my order (e.g., delays, broken bottles, etc), I will certainly let you know. But yeah, AusPost is much more reliable.

        • It's very hard for us to decide which one is better Hunter or Australia Post.
We use them both and on average hunter is better in VIC, SA and WA.
We try to work with our customers and send the orders with whichever they prefer, Aust Post or Hunter.
ie. There are customers that don't want their delivery with Hunter and we make a note on their account to use Aust Post Only.
And there are customers that prefer Hunter instead of Aust Post.

In your case, if Hunter isn't good enough and you would like future orders (if there will be any) to be sent via Aust Post, we can put a note on your account and all future orders will be sent via Aust Post.

          Cheers.
