Great timing as I'm in the UK and was looking for a VPN deal instead of using free apps with heaps of ads when I need to access certain things I'm Australia. Conveniently posting this using the service. :D

As usual this only applies to new customers so best to use a new email address. Cashback also only applies to the VPN sub and not the Plus or Complete plans.

The current deal on the Nordvpn site I'm seeing is £2.49 per month plus 3 months free, so £67.23 (~$114) for 27 months.

Completed and cashback came up as $108.09 so once it comes through, not bad for $5.

Cash Rewards also have Private Internet Access with 96% cashback for those keen on PIA.

  I presume they use current market rates, but just want to check if I should use a VPN to buy this VPN. 😂

    When I VPN to Australia, the price comes up as $3.09 per month ($83.43 + GST for the 2 years).

    But with the cashback it all ends up similar, just a different initial outlay.

      Yes i am in australia and access the nord vpn deal via op link. Can see that sub plan has 68% discount and shows as $83.43+VAT for 2 years+3 months free plan. So not sure how op got $108.09 cashback. Also which is bettet plan..sub or plus or complete? Can anyone share their view pls?

        I see the same logging in via TunnelBear.

        Pretty sure the 97% Cashback only applies to the sub, not the higher plans. Best to read the fine print on the Shopback page before purchasing.

        My cashback was $108.09 as I paid a higher amount due to paying in GBP. If I did VPN to Australia I would have got it cheaper. :)

  Use at your own risk. They may not honor it and drag it all the way till you are out of the full refund period by NordVPN. In my experience it was recorded by shopback and rebate shown for couple of months then got cancelled.

    This was my issue with the cyberghost promo. Got to day 40 and still pending so I requested a refund just in case it got declined.

    You should've raised it with SB and should've taken the screengrabs of the tracked CB, in my experience they honored it with one of energy providers, around $171.

    My advice: screen record EVERY single Shopback transaction you make and save the video in a folder somewhere. Because you're going to need to screenshot parts of that video at least 90% of the time when they have increased cashback rates. Shopback hates to honour upsized cashbacks and simply hope that you'll either forget about it or won't bother wasting time making a claim.

    They'll try and fluff you away with "we cannot pay if we do not have confirmation from the vendor" blah blah blah but I threaten them with Fair Trading and false advertising if they do that. That's for them to sort out if they don't get paid from the vendor. They have an agreement with their customer base to pay their cashbacks out, and if you have 100% proof of everything, they'll run out of excuses and finally pay it out.

    Cashrewards though? Sheesh… I can't even remember the last time I had cashback issues with them. They have their sh*t together and don't screw you over (at least in my experience over the last 5+ years).

  got charged A$127.19, and SB only tracked A$108.86.
  just requested a refund from nordvpn, not a good deal for almost A$19.

    There is no cashback on the GST.

    $127.19 includes 10% GST

  Removing GST leaves it as $99.63 (I assume USD)
