      No i select the E530 3rd gen i5 and still get the 15% discount, looks like much better value than the new Dell 15R (higher rank GPU, faster CPU, faster HDD, numeric pad which is a must for me) BUT looks like they out of stock or running low on the 500GB 7200rpm HDD, needs to wait at least 4 weeks !!!

      I'll say ThinkPad Tx20 series is cheaper than Dell Latitude E6x20 series.

        OK I was comparing Latitude 6520 with T520, with FHD screen. Everything else is base. Dell is cheaper and has 3 year on-site warranty.

    x230 has thinklight, just no more thinklight button. keep pressing fn + space bar to alternate from backlight keyboard power / thinklight.

    I m thinking of X220 thou, cos under $1000 for i5 + 2 years warrenty. tempting, but the intel 4000 seems a big improvement compare with 3000. cos the ivy bridge is all about the improved cheap intel graphics.

    For those who want to buy, remember to add the centrino option for WIDI (wireless display) support, future prove. And the Windows 8 PRO upgrade for $15.

    AU$993.09 for this cos I have a mobile broadband card to add into it, or $55 cheaper without the mobile BB ready.
