At least the RBA has said that they aren't allowed to carge $30 for CC any more, hopefully that will result in change sooner rather than later.

    • Ummm… the reserve bank dictates the allowed charges for CC use? Seriously?

If that's true, it's a disgusting example of socialism.

  • don't forget the carbon tax son.

  • Removed myself from their membership site 2 years ago after they pushed back a departure flight (Saigon-Singapore) by 3hours 50 minutes. They gave me less than 72 hours notice (notice was via email, not sms) and I would have missed my connecting flight had I not chosen another airline. No email address, no call centre only a fax no. based in Sing. The answer to my faxed complaint…No refunds, no voucher just 'where Tigerair may reschedule a flight and put that flight time back BY 4 HOURS OR MORE, Tigerair MAY consider a voucher etc…'
Yeh roight!!!!! 3 hours 50 minutes??? Yeh roight!!!

Every airline have their faults, even the expensive ones. I do understand your frustration. In 2010,I booked a flight Melb-Syd and was supposed to leave Melbourne at 10.20am, but it only left at 3pm. The best thing was I had a connecting flight to Singapore at 5.30pm, so I had to race from the Sydney domestic airport to the international airport in 20 mins, go and drop my luggage off and not miss the plane. Worse experience of my life.

Hope the flight takes of, and remember to check in 45 mins before even if there is queue, else they'll leave you standing and then tell you you should have stepped forward on your own.

  • How does above deal works??

  • +2

Everything between Melb and Perth sold out….gg

  • Can't wait till the new credit card reforms kick in these airlines have been ripping people off for to long, 30 bucks for using a credit card what a joke

  • Im sure they'll just bump up fare prices to cover the cc fees anyway.

  • Just try to book. It's not working properly.
Put a departure from BNE but I can't put anywhere else to go, except SYD.

    • Actually, I want to go to Hobart. They don't allow me to book BNE-HBA and transit in MEL

  • not bad. just booked a flight for 2 under $160 with baggage, syd-melb return
