Damn u OzBargain, 2nd watch purchase this week..

    Nice find/watch OP.

    Cheers.

    • No worries, welcome to the club.. I now have 11 or 12 watches in my drawer.
Check out the unboxing video of this model on YouTube just incase you're not sure if it's worth buying for $199. https://youtu.be/znHnswpZlQE

Too late now, already paid, lol…

I think i have more than 12 now..

I do like the style of this 1, hence the purchase & it's an auto..

      • Thanks for the link. The blue dial looks waay better on the steel bracelet and the black dial looks better on leather. LOL

        • That's true. Just get a replacement leather and keep the steel bracelet for another watch.. I used the Samsung 20mm leather strap on my Seiko Baby Turtle. Looks great on my tiny wrist.

That day window though, feels like once you've seen it, you can't unsee it again and its bugging me lol

    • Yeah if they didn't have the large 3 number. It would have looked nicer with that date window. Even better if they have the day and date on it.

    Watch winder recommendations?

    • +5

Unless you're buying seriously expensive watches with very high accuracy, I don't think watch winders make any sense.

    • +2

Why? A winder equals wear and tear on an automatic watch.

  • +1

Looks nice but I can't see myself ever buying an automatic which has the second hand as a sub-dial. The sweeping second hand is one of the biggest allures of a mechanical watch.

  • +1

Wow. I've been eyeing an automatic for a while and also bit except the day window was a put off.

    The dial is gorgeous.

The one that caught my eye has a pulsimeter which seems like a good gimmick.

  • Unfortunately my tag heuer days are behind me and now if woollies doesn’t sell it I don’t buy it. My wife buys nice things on our behalf. But I like this watch.

      Broken soul sounded,
      Quiely tick-tock beckons,
      Important life choice.

  • Is it possible to change the strap of this watch?

    • +1

yes, very easily. just get a spring bar tool or a very small slotted screwdriver

  • Thanks for sharing OP. A great review here by a fellow Aussie from Melbourne (OzBargainer?)
