OW matched at Maribyrnong, only after having to remind them multiple times that their TC's do not exclude membership sites. Two sales people both parrot no Costco match. Even after the manager refused, I reminded them again, he called his district manager. 5 mins later and he begrudgingly agreed to match. He tells the register operator to match, she asks what the price and place is and says they don't match costco. SMH.

Probably used the dick smith false pricing. I also tried but was refused cause the serial code says itâs first gen but itâs advertised as 2nd gen by dicky smith. Kogan is even cheaper

The model number MLWK3ZA/A belongs to the previous gen Airpods Pro. Bit misleading by Kogan/Dick Smith IMO. The model number for the latest one is MQD83ZA/A.

Iâve got the first Gen AirPods Pro. General consensus Iâve read is theyâre an improvement and worth the upgrade. Did anyone have any cons and have also done the upgrade before I go out tomorrow and buy myself a pair?
eh, I don't think they're worth the upgrade (at full price). Noise cancelling is a step up. Probably the my favorite improvement. Sound quality is slightly better. Wouldn't buy it purely for sound quality. Also touch control, precision finding via case and extra battery life are nice.

OW Warners Bay refused (see yesterday). I phoned OW on 1300 633 423. They confirmed they do pb Costco. The person did the purchase over the phone, and provided free shipping.
Newcastle OW wouldn't do it either. I should've just rang but didn't realise they would do it over the phone

I have trouble searching the $319.99 listing on Dick Smithâs site. How do we tell the OW staff to search for it when asking for a PB? Usually they search on their computers when conducting PB.
The operator gave me an email to send them the link.
I know the link but if I go to a OW store and ask for a PB, the staff would go look up Dick Smithâs site on their computer and punch in âAirPods Pro 2â or âAirPods Pro gen 2â etc, the $319.99 listing wonât show up.

Can confirm that as soon as you ring up OW phone line to order, they don't even look up the price and knew what I was talking about. Must be a few ozbargainers ringing already. Don't bother with going into store and getting rejected for pricematch. Even have it ordered for click and collect so don't have to wait for delivery.
In store is so hit and miss imo. I went in few days ago to get Dick Smith PB. They pulled it up on their computer and went through with a fine tooth comb to check it was the same product. When I went in today the guy didnât even really look at my phone, just put it through. Abit frustrating as I would have preferred the Dick Smith PB for $303 some others got earlier this week. Ah well got a new gaget to try out this long weekend!

I don't want to wait until Black Friday either as that's still more than a month away and we don't know if they will be on special let alone how much they would be discounted for.
No doubt retailers will sell these lower as time goes by but I am happy that I've got a newly released Apple product for almost $60 off RRP and got them within a week of release.

I think there is still some speculation that the pre order mightâve been a price error as the old pros are similar price now. Either way happy to have them now too. We are lucky that OW have such a great price beat policy - it is very useful and they have stores all over the place.
I didn't even bother trying for a Dick Smith PB. That one was clearly a listing error, the whole listing just looked wrong đŹ
Would I be happy if I got the $303 price? Hell yeah! But at the same time, I would have felt I took advantage of OW!

No luck at Punchbowl Officeworks. Got the spiel about not allowing price match for costco since it's membership only. Cbb querying this since I had other errands to run. Somebody should compile a list of good/bad officeworks re price matchinig.
