  • This is not unexpected, Bosch does this every now and then

Ah - so it's Bosch driven, not Amazon driven? Is there a pattern to it?

  • the 120 is better value

    • Maybe, but doesn't have wheels - depends on your use case.

      • ngl the wheel is kinda useless, the hose is going to get stuck on the car wheels.
so extension cable is the way to go.

This going to be able to clean a drive and pavers or would I need to go something more powerful?

    • Have a look on previous posts for this, you will have all answers .

  • Would Gerni attachments be compatible with this?

    • Bosch are currently selling the adapter for $12 on ebay

How does this compare to the Ryobi 1800w 2000psi one that was $99 at Bunnings

Or the $109 Ozito with 3 year replacement warrenty?

      • Is either of these better than UniversalAquatak 130?

I got the Ryobi 1800w 2030psi from a friend (new model but was not impressed with the pressure). Might have not used it enough.

That Gerni with all attachment and a roller wheel for the hose is an excellent value.

My brother in law has a high end gerni (not the above one) . Used that to wash my car. I recently got a ozito for $99 on sale and its not as good or convinient as a high end gerni. Ozito has good pressure, but the wheels dont roll, the water pattern from the hose aint that good IIRC, shorter hose etc) - but still does an excellent job of cleaning.

Given a choice between the 2, I would probably go with 219$ gerni as a balance between both for long term usage. If you rarely use, the ozito is still an excellent choice.

      • Is that for rate correct? Seems really low… not sure how it’s 1500w with such a low flow rate

    • Ryobi 2000 psi is not enough to clean grime off concrete using the wide spray, only small (pin point, pen like) jet sprayer is effective. Also need a little more psi for weatherboard paint removal. I would have preferred 3000 PSI

Same with the Ozito, I just ordered this patio cleaner didn't have a chance to try yet.

        • Agreed, please let us know how it goes with the Patio cleaner. I might pick one up. Thanks!

  • The baby of the lot is at a good price.
    Bosch 1200 Watt EasyAquatak 100.

    • Not worth it IMO, you can get a better one for little more.

These are the old models FYI. Bunnings has the latest version 2030psi for $169. Its a (profanity) beast. Much better than my karcher K2 and for the price amazing
Get the $20 vortex attachment. Great for concrete driveways

i bought the 1700 Watt one last time Bosch was having these sales on amazon and im pretty disappointed with its build. the very first time i used it the plastic vice that you wrap the hose around had snapped off, which was annoying but didnt affect the cleaner itself so i persisted. ive only used it 4-5 times and just the last time i was using it, the "barrel" where the nozzle is attached, suddenly a small hole appeared so now when i use it some of the water sprays out to the side (assuming the pressure from the water tore away some of the plastic where the barrel and nozzle meet, creating a pin sized hole)

  • Will this clean stained outdoor tiles?

  • I would not recommend buying any pressure washer with a built-in detergent tank. Should the tank become blocked (eg, because of dried detergent) often the tank is problematic to remove and clean, and you are left with a pressure washer with limited functionality. An on-board detergent tank, however, may be a different story.

    • Any suggestion what detergent to use for driveway concrete backyard etc, if patio cleaner didn't work?

      • Perhaps you could try a heavy-duty detergent used for washing trucks (but which is unsuitable for cars).

        • I saw some from Bunnings pressure washer session but not sure which one to get if needed or just baking soda and vinegar will work?

          • +1

@superforever: You could try baking soda and vinegar first. If that doesn't do the job, you may have to use a heavy-duty chemical detergent solution.

I left my ryobi out the backyard in the AM sun underneath a verandah, for 3 years, it still works!!!

How does it compare to Aldi's 2000W one?

    • there are no specs to compare :(
