    Another data harvester

    • +52

Optus took care of that already. At least I get 30 minutes free games with this one.

    • Google and Meta already collected enough data about you. Don't be shy 🙃

  • +4

My favourite youghurt is Village Dairy atm. Deal is good on its own but would rather have something good :)

  • +7

What a shame its one of the sugary, refined yoghurts.

  • +1

Ill be having yogurt for breakfast, lunch and dinner if i keep winning them timezone or GC > $10

  • +10

One of the most unhealthy yoghurts to me. They’re packed with either added sugar or artificial sweeteners (Zero line).

    • -2

      Make your own then?

      • +4

Yeah, sometimes but for convenience I mostly buy. We still have plenty healthy choices as long as we check the ingredients.

  • +14

Tough yoghurt crowd here… I can’t imagine your coffee order!

    • +2

      Or maccas /HJ/KFC
More sugar in a serve that a whole tub of this yogurt

      • +2

Difference is people don't eat KFC for a healthy option lol
The Yoplait Zero looks healthy enough though. Sugar in there is just fructose.

        • +4

Not all people eat yogurt for a healthy option

          • @easternculture: Yeah, nah. I eat corn chips for a non-healthy option. Nobody is walking around going "damn, this yoghurt is so bad for me but it's so damn tasty!"

  • Thanks OP!

  • +5

Buy 100 tubs of yoghurt ($400 on special) and get on average: 30 games of bowling, 900 minutes at timezone and $340 in gift cards. Not bad XD

    • Yep good ROI

    • +1

One claim per person per week, so 5 per person till promo ends.

Unless you have 19 more FnF/personalities willing to do it and not claim anything themselves….

      • It's not one claim per household per week :)

        • Yup. Please read my reply again ;)

          • @sh4hp: Hence you can have multiple "people" in your household that won't be able to claim it themselves :)
Worst case scenario you'll need a burner number.

      • +3

Looks like my mum dad uncle aunt stepsister cat and dog are all going to jump on this bandwagon. And they all live with me coincidentally.

    • +1

That won't leave enough time to eat the yoghurt.

      • +3

Start up a yoghurt bar and enjoy even more profits

Churn it through an ice cream machine to make froyo and then keep it in the freezer

        • Is that how froyo is made?

    • that's a lot of bowling and arcade games in october

  • +1

Thirty (30) minutes of time play at Timezone

Can you earn tickets during this time onto your card?

    • +1

      Normally not.

      • Damn that's sucky.

        • Do you really need the crappy Timezone prizes?

          • +2

@dust: I've had some seriously good luck lately. In the last 3 months I've visited nearly every Timezone/Zone/Kingpin venue in the Melbourne and Sydney CBD area and won some really major prizes in the totally rigged games. There's only so many airpods and smart watches you can have.

Plus some of the games are really easy to win tickets on.

            • @Clear: what's the trick? i tried one of those colour guessing machines once and the game lasted like 5 secs so i decided to stop burning money on it

              • +3

@alamodey: For the games with major prizes that's purely luck. Take Stacker for example. Out of the factory this is set to win a major prize after 500 tries and can be customised to be anything else, so it's likely to be double or triple. To increase your chances you can wait for people to try (and hopefully fail) to get the prize and then it's more likely to cash out. When I've won on these it's been 1 or 2 off the major prize about 4 times prior.

^ This trick works better with claw machines where the payout odds are much higher.

There's two way to earn tickets. The coin pushing games often have collectable cards that are worth a lot on their own or in a set. Again you aim for ones where people have given up and they're close to the edge. Even if you don't get the whole set the payout is good.

The other option is Ticket Dome and when there's not many players you can score big. The game is simple, you press the button, it scoops down, picks up tickets, drops them onto the ticket pusher and any that go over the edge is a win. Now the gotcha is that a lot of people don't realise there's a mini game above after each win. Press the button for a chance to win bonus tickets. When people don't realise it means they press the button, "nothing happens" and then the 500 ticket roll has gone past.

Another gotcha is that the scoops often have a little clip in the mechanism that makes it shake when it goes up. They're only supposed to have 1 or 2 scoops with this enabled, unless the franchise owner is extra greedy and puts them all on. It's common for these to happen after maintenance as the scoops regularly get jammed from ticket rolls.

Some tickets will also trigger a bonus round which causes all 4 scoops to scoop the tickets to the bowl in the middle and that dumps onto your ticket pusher. I believe the 75 ticket rolls trigger this and the chance is 10% by default.

Last week on Ticket Dome I played near closing and was able to get every single 500 roll onto my pusher. The end result was about 6000 tickets.

                • @Clear: As for other arcades. B. Lucky & Sons is like a mini timezone with less games, less tickets paid out but a heap of super expensive retro prizes, so I tend to avoid them.

KOKO Amusements have a lot of extra games Timezone/Kingpin/Zone/B. Lucky don't offer. However their claw machines are super duper rigged. The Psyduck claw machine on George St doesn't let you win until more than $500 has gone into it.

                  • @Clear: Koko George St also have the latest pinball machines which is the best :)

                    • @fridgejam: Deadpool was always my favourite as it's easy to get multiball. After playing Guardians of the Galaxy that's my new favourite as you can get loads of balls in one game.

                      • @Clear: If you like those games you must try Godzilla (currently at Koko). It's got lots of balls, and is super fast - one of Stern's best pinballs!

There’s always a compromise — join the zombie army!

  • I prefer chocolate and caramel sauce as it has less sugar per serve.

    • Thanks mate, dunno such an awesome show! Informative savage comedy :)

  • +1

Anyone else having flashbacks of muttipesto sauce

    • Missed that one - I remember the up and go rebel one

    • Yes, but this one actually seems legit!

  • how long does the $4 yoghurt promotion last for? if i buy 4 tubs tmw will i be able to apply each purchase in subsequent weeks or do i have to buy the yoghurt at more expensive prices next week?

    • +3

Specials are typically Wed-Tues. Make sure you buy them in seperate transactions.

  • +1

Won Thirty (30) minutes of time play at Timezone
I'm pretty thrilled, and I have another receipt for later, but will have to do it under another name as it's 1 entry per week per person

  • is it a guaranteed win for one of the prizes?

    • +1

I think so. Won $10 gc… Thot bowling/timezone will be better value. Got kids 😂

    • +1

Yep guaranteed to receive 1 of those items, it wouldn't be in the deals section otherwise.

  • +1

are there fees for the gift cards that might make this not as good as it appears?

  • +4

FFS don't be environmentally friendly like me and choose not to print a receipt.

    Stupid environment.

    • +2

Did you scan your EDR card? You should be able to find it in your account as an eReceipt if you scanned it?

      • +2

        @ Coles

        :P

        • Lol, busy day today :)

Not sure if Flybuys and Coles offer the same functionality for eReceipts.

          • +3

            @doweyy: Haha.

I don't think flybuys has such a thing yet. They only just started putting fuel discounts digitally on the app.

            • +1

@hamza23: The only way to get a digital receipt from Coles is to email customer support stating the store name, approximate purchase time/date, and FlyBuys card number if relevant.

Although from memory they send you back a crappy JPEG of what you bought.

          • @doweyy: They do not, which is a PITA.

    • +1

The store can look up your receipt and reprint it for you if you have enough details, like credit card used, time of transaction, amount etc. Just ask at the front desk.

      • +1

Went back but they were unable to assist despite trying. The transaction seemed to have vanished.

        Never mind, my bad.

  • Totally forgot to separate the products into two transactions… any chance I could try submitting same transaction but under two names/different weeks?

    • Same but it was different flavour yoghurt I'm gonna just take another photo of receipt and try next week

      • Am in the same boat. Any luck here?

  • +1

I "won" a $5 gift card. Which is totally useless as there are 0 $5 gift cards on the card.gift website.

    • +5

use it as a credit to buy other gift cards, used mine to get a Woolies gift card.

      • how do you use the $5 gift card to get the Woolies gift card?

    • Dan Murphy's is a good choice as well. $0 fees, same as Woolies gift card.

  • Can you combine multiple $5 gift cards to buy one card?

  • I won a $20 Gift Card and it was sent to me within an hour. Damn good value this promotion!

  • Pity no $5 gift cards

  • when do you need to claim the timezone by?

  • +1

I have a couple timezone codes. Anyone want to swap for some bowling codes?

    • Hi, I have a couple of bowling codes and would like to swap. still available?

    • Pm sent

    • Hey I am interested if still available! I got a bowling code and want timezone code instead. Let me know.

  • Got $5 thanks!

  • I got bowling. One of my least favourite things to do, but free is free!

  • I have a bowling voucher I'd like to swap for a Timezone voucher

  • have bowling willing to swap for timezone

  • If anyone wants to swap their timezone vouchers for my bowling please PM. I have a couple available for trades

  • How does the timezone pass work? Can I get one and then have 2 kids play off the one card?

    • Redeemed one on the weekend. Rock up at the counter and give them the code, they give you a card.
Card is good for 30 minutes, red and yellow readers only (at my local). Generally you can't 2-player any games because there's a minimum time between swipes, like 30 seconds I think? The reader lets you know exactly how many seconds before it'll accept the card again.
But games where you can join in / resume as you die should be good to go.

I think there's a limit of 30 games but you probably won't hit that.

      • Awesome thanks champ!
