Terms & Conditions

  • This challenge entitles you to $5 bonus cashback when you spend $50 or more in a single transaction (minimum spend does not include GST charged at checkout for international items, delivery and all other fees) at eBay Australia through ShopBack between 12.00am and 11.59pm AEST on 27th September 2022.
  • Multiple items may be purchased in a single transaction to reach the minimum spend.
  • Only purchases made after you 'Start' this challenge will qualify for the bonus cashback.
  • Limited to one bonus per customer.
  • Available while redemptions last.
  • The $5 bonus cashback is in addition to the regular cashback you'll receive shopping at eBay Australia.
  • The $5 bonus will be added to your account once your regular cashback turns Confirmed.
  • Purchases that do not count towards this challenge are those in which do not meet the store's respective terms and conditions (including but not limited to cancellations, returns, exchanges, using unapproved coupons, purchasing excluded products/categories).
  • Cashback will be voided if any fraudulent activities are detected or if any terms and conditions are not met.

    Not much a deal because
    1. The 20% off code has ended yesterday, and
    2. the 20% off code makes your purchase ineligible for cashback

    Prefer $5 Bonus Cashback on a $50 ebay gift card
    or
    $5 Bonus Cashback with $50 Spend on Amazon :D

      Dot pt2 is slightly incorrect. I chatted with GYB and can confirm that regardless if you have used any unapproved codes, your challenge will still be credited onto your account
      GYB did make a public comment on here too

      There’s still the 5% off on eligible items and the Student Beans codes that are still valid offers

        It seems like a gamble to me. They have all the rights to reject your bonus claim.
        Plus, it was a 20% code, ended yesterday and its only 10% off today, hence not much an attractive deal

          I can confirm that I have participated in this exact deal previously, used an 'unapproved coupon' and cashback was rejected and I did not receive $5 bonus.

    Seems like the $5 off voucher for eBay plus is better, get it instantly. Would be nice if you could stack. Cancelled plus anyway.

      Most of the time eBay$5 monthly voucher requires constant chasing up and following up for weeks if not months to get it. I need to chase every month and I think that can only use to purchase plus item.

        Yeah but so does the cashback apps. Better getting the discount immediately than waiting 75 days plus.
        Anyway agreed that one month the eBay vouchers were late.

              @G-rig: i only choose to join as I got an email for $50 voucher and I have something I need to buy at that time. Otherwise I wouldn't pay anything over $15 for annual membership. On the other hand, I am happy to pay $5x for Amazon Prime.

                Bought a fair few good items with the eBay plus codes, it's not really about having to spend the $5 voucher each month. I couldn't give a hoot if those go to waste if the min spend $50.

                I think everyone has prime anyway, but not everything is on prime etc.

    I hate how they say you need at least $10 to withdraw, the cashback, but must earn $10 worth of regular cashback before you can access the bonus cashback.
