  • Anyone find cheaper, planning to extend mine soon

      • Interesting, is that legit website and is it in Aud,

I usually get the 15 devices as i share it with family

I bought last year from Dealarious, its legit. It was in USD (just checked my email from last year).

    • Remember a Family Pack license is effectively more flexible. It allows you to 'assign' other devices to other users, meaning you have upto 15 devices you can allow friends and family to use.

With Total Security, a 10-device license is 10 devices you personally own, unless you are prepared to share your Bitdefender login, which isn't recommended.

With Family Pack, you can allocate other people to share your device limit by adding their email address to the allow list.

Personally prefer Kaspersky. Bitdefender constantly asking me if i want to use their VPN when downloading torrents each time is (profanity) infuriating.

    • +1

That doesn't really sound like a bad thing, unless your already using a different VPN

      • +2

I am already using Windscribe. Which is the annoying thing AND i turned off all notifications… imagine each torrent you add you get a pop up in the bottom right corner asking you to use Bitdefender VPN.

    • I like Kaspersky, but seriously looking for an alternative. I'm thinking Bitdefender or ESET

      • +2

I've had both Bitdefender and Kaspersky. Bitdefender although it has those pop-ups people complain about you can remove them in settings and just unselect notifications and offers then they're a non-issue. One reason why I stuck with Bitdefender which you'll notice right away is that it uses up way fewer system resources than Kaspersky, and I haven't had any issues since I first switched about 3 years ago so I would definitely recommend the switch

    • Just uninstall the VPN component. Admittedly it is annoying, but hasn't bothered me since I uninstalled their VPN

Bitdefender, Norton or McAfee anyone T_T

      Bitdefender, all the way.

      Bitdefender, no contest…

What happens if I stack on top of a 5 device account.

    • Sadly you can't tag a Family Pack license onto an existing Total Security license.

Why not? Family Pack is more flexible. It allows you to 'assign' other devices to other users, meaning you have upto 15 devices you can allow friends and family to use.

With Total Security, your 5-device limit is your personal limit. Big difference in flexibility.

      • Thanks mate, appreciate the response

  • why is this marked as expired, it is still at this price
