  • Seriously?

You are better off with Microsoft Security Essentials. Or if that doesnt float your boat, try avast with gaming mode on.

This deal would have been killer 10 years ago.

  • Entering Billing info is a deal breaker. And certainly not worth it for only six months

Shouldn't you be telling your bank (assuming you actually want one of these paid products) that:

    1. Internet banking saves them enormous amounts of money
    2. It's important that the computer you bank from is secure
    3. Therefore it's in the interests of the bank that your home computer be secured, rather than you depending on over-the-counter service, and that to do this safely it should provide security free of charge to all customers?

    Or you could use MSE.

    Edit: And welcome back, OzBargain:).
