Looks like the lowest price by far for this model to date.

Copying the summary from guidedlight's post:

  • Comes with a bonus Floor Dok accessory (freestanding dock) valued at $149
  • Similar weight to the Dyson V8
  • 30% more powerful than the Dyson V8 (same power as the V10, less power than the V11, V15)
  • Small bin capacity (slightly smaller than the V8, far smaller than other vacuums)
  • 60mins runtime (more than the V8. Same as V10, V11, and V15)
  • Has a low-profile green laser fluffy head (which is Dyson's best head for hard floors. Unique to V12 and V15). The laser is designed to accentuate dirt on hard floors.
  • Auto speed (depending on the amount of dirt). Speed is selectable with a button on the back (Med/Auto/Boost)
  • LCD screen showing the size of particles being collected
  • Has the on/off button on top (other vacuums use a trigger button in the handle)

In summary, this is a more high tech, lightweight version of the V10 most suited to medium to large houses with hard floors throughout. If you need a more powerful vacuum (e.g. you have pets & carpet), then the V11 or V15 would be better suited.

      Depends on your type of floor. This one is ideal for hard floor.

      Has a low-profile green laser fluffy head (which is Dyson's best head for hard floors. Unique to V12 and V15). The laser is designed to accentuate dirt on hard floors.

      is hair tangling thing the only thing missing from the old head? If so, its not that bad specially if you don't have pets. My old V6, I only clean hair from it once every 3 months. Good feature to have but with the price as low as $846, its a good deal IMO :) (that's how I convinced myself BTW, lol)

        Correct, any model from V7 & newer also has a larger brush bar diameter meaning hair tangling also less common than on V6 & earlier for reference

      read some of the comments in T20/T30 deal - people have issues with battery, replacement battery is hard to find and if you find them they are like $200.

      My view - Xiaomi is good as long as it works, the moment something fails in it, you will have difficulty with after sales support after warranty. On the other hand, with Dyson - you can get replacement parts even after 5-6 years if not more for a much reasonable price. For this very reason, I will stick to Dyson.

    How do you apply SNSSEPT? It only shows the DYSV12EXTRA coupon was applied and that section is greyed out. There's no where in the checkout section to add an additional coupon code.

      I just clicked Buy It Now and the coupon code box was under the payments options was open to add the SNSEPT code. As you said the The DYSV12EXTRA coupon is already applied…Maybe try refresh the page if it's greyed out.

    Purchased last week for $909ish, just arrived a couple days ago, great machine, feels like half the weight of my old v11 (which seems to be dead, pulses when pull the trigger, new battery and cleaned out all the filters and even disassembled it to check for blockages, couldn’t find any thing?) a much smaller bin, however we now have a robbo vac so this is only needed for spot cleans, so no worries there. Got the free standing dock also, it’s a bit average construction but does the job.

      Try to clean the contacts somewhere between the machine and bin and between the bin and wand - that's how I fixed the pulses on my v6.

    This model has a push button on/off button on on top, so there's no need to constantly press the trigger. This is so nice when you need to clean the PC and have to constantly press the trigger whilst also trying to pivot the cleaner brush head.

    Only con is it doesn't come with the new Motorbar cleaner head (uses the older Direct drive cleaner head), so gonna need to constantly clean/ pull out hairs every couple of cleans. :/

    FYI this model does not come with the Motobar hair detangling head or the up-top adaptor.
    The included docking station is redundant if you use the floor dock.
