Jabra Elite 4 Active - $118 @ Harvey Norman / $119 @ JB Hi-Fi & The Good Guys, + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store)

480

Obligatory long time lurker, first time poster, go easy on me. Picked up 2 pairs for myself and the wife, despite the website stating 1 per customer. Reviews are quite good, the Elite 7 Active don't seem to be worth the extra dollars.

Sales blurb:
The Jabra Elite 4 Active True Wireless Headphones will provide the clear sound of your favourite music while working out, with a secure fit, Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and HearThrough for added awareness.

Tempting but I actually don't see a reason to move away from my Elite Active 75Ts still!

    • I was thinking similar!

    • +4

      Same but 65t

    • Being able to use buds independently was the reason for me to upgrade. My usual usage was with only 1 bud in ear.

      • Both buds independently? Left as well as right?

        • +1

          Yes exactly

  • +2

where do all these line up against the elite 75/85t .. whoever decided on the naming of their products is an idiot.

    • 75 and 85 are older gen but better options , got ANC and a bit more water resistance than the Elite 3.
new range is Elite 3 = Budget but pretty

      • so 75 and 85 are still their top models?

        • not the top but very close to elite 7 and 7 pro .. all of them much better than elite 3

Worth spending the extra $1 so you are not supporting Gerry!

    • +11

Worth price beating at Officeworks so you save $6 and don't support Gerry

      • +1

That grub deserves not a single cent.

How about supporting Gerry and save yourself a $1.

      Exactly what I did haha!

I was looking at these yesterday in JB. Happy I waited the extra day. Bought today.

    OW price beat possible.

    • I got the Sennheiser CX True Wireless Plus yesterday from JB, then it goes on sale today. FML

How's the ANC compared to galaxy buds 2?

  • And thanks OP, I'm finally replacing my 65ts. The Silicon covers have come off and I have to manually replace them to charge the earbuds, but I've had them for years and love them

    • Silicone covers? I use 65t buds, there's no silicone cover that could impede charging

  • Can someone help me find out the version history.

    Is it:

    64t < 75t < 85t < 3 < 4 < now 5 ?

    Elite 85T $179.40

    • Is this GG or HN?

      • +1

Sorry, forgot to add that it's Jabra EPP

    • $179.40 for the elite 85t is damn good

  • Excellent price for well reviewed earbuds: https://www.rtings.com/headphones/reviews/jabra/elite-4-acti…
    $112.10 with OW PB.

  • +5

Amazon has price matched H/N for those with Prime.

  • Hi all, can anyone comment on the noise reduction ratings?
Not to be confused with ANC.
I want something slim that I can wear in the workshop/Garden. Dedicated NRR buds are $200 and don't always seem to work perfectly
I have galaxy buds plus and absolutely detest them

  • Wanting something that fits the rest like the 65t, do these have a similar shape?

  • +2

I'd avoid this. No bluetooth multipoint, 4 speaker mic compared with 6 on other models.

See if you can grab a bargain 75t instead.

    • +2

Was looking at this with interest, but no bluetooth multipoint is a deal breaker. It's such a hassle without it.

  • what makes these a "secure fit" compared to normal Jabra in-ears?

  • +2

What is the quality of product in comparison to Samsung or Google headphones? Do they fit comfortably and what is the sound like?
What's the difference between this and the 75t, elite 3,5,7 etc.?

    • +1

There's literally videos on YouTube that does this comparison.
People who ask these questions reminds me of them boomers at work who don't bother to google IT issues.

    • Jabra is better than Google and even Samsung.

  • I'm using soundpeats true air 2. Are these much of an upgrade?

  • These or the Creative Outlier Pro's … ?
