 - bosch pro (blue bosch) is generally much better quality than regular bosch (green). I have a blue bosch angel grinder that is even made in germany.
 - These here are all hex, so it's for an impact driver mostly (but not only). - The green set from the other deal has hex bits like this one and regular drills but no hex drills.
 - Can't comment on quality, but:
 * The 91 piece obviously has a lot more variety, and looks like you can put the screw bits on the handle included to use as screwdriver.
 * This 35 piece kit looks like it's designed more for people using impact drivers, do could depend on what power tools you have.
 - I have both sets. The bits in this set are better, V-Line set is very handy to have but this set is my go to for most heavy material drilling and for use in my impact driver. - Thanks mate.

 - This set reads like it's meant to be those universal "does-it-all" bits on TV
 - Usability looks way better on this kit. It's a pain to take the bits out on the green kit.

 - Are the bits good for concrete/brick walls? - Not really, they're for an impact driver at best, for minor drilling/softer materials
 - No, need masonry bits - Thanks, I get some masonry bits. - I was wrong, those blue bits are masonry bits and are good for concrete/brick walls. I was rightly downvoted.

 - I used these drill bits to mount a camera in brick, no dramas. - Edit: I think people are not realizing that these are multi-purpose bits, Bosch themselves state they're fine for masonry use.
 - These are perfectly fine for concrete. They're masonry bits which are designed to work with other materials too. - Fair enough. Would you use it on concrete/brick with any impact driver or any rotary? Or only the sturdier ones like Bosch blue/pro? - You should technically use masonry bits in a hammer drill, not an impact driver. For light work, you will get away with using an impact driver. - @Mr BoMBAStiG: So would you use these hex drills bits in a hammer drill and drill in concrete/brick walls? Feels like it could damage the bit or the machine, due to the hex shape. Serious consideration here, as I've only drilled with regular (straight/smooth) shaft/mount and with SDS. - @pizzaguy: I'm not the person to ask but I would have thought that the grips on the hammer drill would be able to securely grab the hex. Maybe they need to be smooth in a hammer drill so that it can slip if it really needs to? - @Mr BoMBAStiG: Yeah, that's what I thought the common sense was. These bits might be indestructible and fine in sturdy, professional tools, but I wonder what happens if I put them in a chepish hammer drill and when it starts rattling. - Well, I wouldn't do it. I'd use regular (straight) shaft bits in a regular hammer drill, but happy to be corrected.

 - The drill bits here aren't as good as specialised bits in a drill - the driver bits are fine though.
 - Price has gone up to $49.17 - The 31-piece set for $34.42 still looks like good value. - That’s a screwdriver only bit set with more bits for screw driving compared to the other. I wasn’t interested in the drill bits anyway as I have some Kango branded ones which look superior to Bosch equivalents. - Can anyone share their thoughts on Kango vs Bosch bits?

 - For context and not saying its not a good deal. I purchased a couple of magnetic drivers for $7-8, exactly the pieces I wanted to install a 6x6m shed. - The drivers went great and are still in great condition after hundreds of screws driven, tek and philips. If you just need a piece or two that might be a cheaper path to take?
 - Good thing about Bosch impact sets are the cases. - You can snap on/off the bit sets that you want to collect. - You should start the world’s first drill bit collectors club. Wow. That will be popular with tradies I bet. - You would be surprised at how much people complain about the cases of the other manufacturers. - The ability to take bits out and put them back in, can be a sore point. - Yes, I experienced that too with the cheapest drill bits from Bunnings. I bought the Kango masonry bits with case, and the quality was brilliant. Hopefully the Bosch are quality considering mixed reports on Amazon. - @JeBs: Bosch Blue Professional would be better than Bosch Professional. - Makita Gold impact bits are supposed to be excellent,
but it has a premium price to it and maybe hard to find.

How does this compare to this set that has more bits and is 51% off?
