One of my original Joy-con's have started drifting, so went looking for replacements. Normally, I would not recommend third party controllers but this is cheap enough to risk.

  • Note : When the switch host enters the sleep state, the controller cannot release the sleep, it is best to use the real joycon to release.

i bought some binbok ones to replace my drifting joycons, they feel great and work just like the original ones but better as theyre much more comfortable to hold and play with. i sont have small hands and with a bump behind them and being wider, they are definitely not giving me the cramps that my joy cons were. bit more expensive then these but not by much. id definitely recommend the binboks over these id say.

You can get repair/replacement kits for drifting Switch Joycons and save a few dollars.

Try this method. I've done this myself and can confirm that it is a permanent fix for the drift. No need to buy any replacement kits too. Just need a tri-wing screwdriver, a bit of cardboard and some double-sided tape and you're good to go.

For the record these are terrible. The charge lasts an hour max. And constant connectivity issues.

I don't think it's that cheap tbh. No Amazon reviews either

These look like a deformed/inbred version of the original Joycons

I bought a bag of joy con stick replacements for like $10 from AliExpress and every single one I've replaced for myself and friends switches have had no problems since. Very easy to replace.

Would be grateful for a link to the ones you bought!

I hadn't really used my Switch since I bought it until the new Sports game came out, only to find the drift shocking on all my joy cons.

      Shame Nintendo didn't replace these!

I didn't have my switch very long till they had drift issues and now I had these sticks in there since Feb last year with no problems.

You can also just recalibrate the joy cons in the meantime, that can help

        • Thanks!

        • easy to replace? i dont have the drift but i feel mine is too easy to move? like not much resistance …
not sure if this is normal need to check brand new in shop (i bought second hand. v1 so it is old)
