[Switch] Cat Quest II $4.50 (Was $22.50) @ Nintendo eShop

1040

This fun couch co-op game that got me through quarantine last year is at it's cheapest point. There's a free demo if you wanted to try it first. Way more content than you'd expect from $4.50.

Features

Brand new story set in the world of Felingard - and beyond!
All new switch and local co-op gameplay. Play as both cat and dog, either alone or with a friend!
New weapons types – Master swords, staves and more to become a fur-midable fighter!
More spells bring even more furry judgement to your foes.
New passive abilities, whose attributes can be mixed and combined for endless paw-sibilities!
Exciting, and varied dungeons filled with new traps and obstacles, making every pounce into the unknown a fresh experience!
Em-bark on a litany of side quests, each telling its own story and expanding the lore and universe of CAT QUEST!

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is also on sale for $13.45

    • +1

my 8yr old love it. specially since it's 2 player so she can play with someone.

    • Checked video - looks like a potentially ok game, but a bit complicated for kids.

    • Try Rayman Legends definitive collection

Such a great game. Thanks OP!

  • In coop, can we both plays as cats or is it a cattu and a doggie?

    • +2

Compare to overcooked, how is it?

    • Do you mean for children?

      • Is this crap / kiddy game?

        • Good fun for casual gamers, like when I play with my partner that only plays Valorant. I doubt it'd be exhilarating fun for avid gamers though.

    • much more casual and less refined. Not a bad co-op game and its story line is decent. Would recommend it.

imo, overcooked is quite polished for what it is.

    Grabbed for my cat-obsessed child

Meowdy, Cat Quest 2 is the Purrfect game for kiddies, but beware the amount of puns might turned you catatonic. Just like this Paw =^_^=

    • +1

Oh my god, yes, I totally forgot about the puns.

  • Oooh. Cat Quest 1 was dope for some ez roguelike gaming, might have to pounce on this one.

  • never had an online account, what happens to the games once your subscription expires?

    • +1

You don't need a subscription to play purchased games. You don't need a subscription full stop, you can skip that.

Only thing required for purchases is a Nintendo Account.

      • +1

crap, you just opened Pandora box for me.

  • Awesome little game. I played it solo for most of it and it was still great fun.

  • Downloaded the demo last night, is this basically a hack and slash game the entire thing?

  • Platinum the hell outta this awesome charming game on PS4.
This is a great price for co op and kids will (should) love it.
Now I'm contemplating to double dip for my Switch…

  • This is a good one for all the cat-owners at Twitter to play while they wait in Spaz to be fired: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUy-tryeV1w
