Cheaper than a lot of Australian retailers even with shipping included. Yes I know they are all the 128gb version, but do you want to pay $186.68 for another 64gb? Even Camels say its the best price

Cracker of a price! It usually hovers around $320 - $375

  • Shame on many if not all Chinese tablets the firmware is stuck to the original version, unlike Samsung, which can be upgraded for the next two or perhaps even three now.

    • I bought lenovo p11 pro last year when on sale from aliexpress. They install global rom and it keep getting OTA updates every 1-2 months although I doubt it will get 3 years+ Samsung update.

    • Not according to GSMArena, it is stuck with the original Android 10. You may be getting the security updates, which you hope they'll do for a year at least.

@Clear —as our lead tablet guy do you endorse this deal??

The price is pretty good for the international version of the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Plus as it's usually $400+. There are a few downsides however, namely the Snapdragon 750G has been swapped with the inferior Helio G90T, RAM has gone from 6GB to 4GB and 128GB storage has become 64GB of storage.

So the overall the performance of the international version is less than the Chinese version. The main advantage however is that you get the official international version of Android so Netflix is guaranteed to work, unlike the Xiaoxin variants where they've needed work and it's currently receiving the Android 12 update.

Would I buy it? No. I personally don't care about Netflix so I'd be paying more for a less powerful tablet. I think at this price it should have 6GB RAM and more storage as a minimum.

I got the 128/6gb/SD750g version from this deal for ~$325 from Aliexpress. It has come up for special a few times around that price recently.

I assume warranty support would be somewhat better through Amazon UK, but not sure by how much.

  • That link shows 248usd including taxes. Is that a good deal @Clear ?

Nah I'd hold off. There's other sellers cheaper and a sale starting tomorrow from 6pm so I'm waiting to see if they'll be included.
